After spending around 2 weeks in making a good upload script, I started my own free image hosting service. However, about 1 week after stating the service, my 20gb bandwidth busted and my host wouldn't host me anymore.

So I decided to quit doing that, and sell my script, and started the site quickgo.info.

Take a look at it! www.quickgo.info

It's clean, IMHO a bit too clean and I don't think it's very renewing.
Also, the header is not vertically aligned to the menu bar and content block.

But it's a good one for a start Smiling

I dont really like this, its very plain isnt it ????

The bar at the top looks a bit unfinished too , and the effect on hover with the links is a bit...well...dull!

Sorry but IMHO a little more work required. Perhaps a coloured backdrop, a watermark or something. Changing the font & adding a bit more content. More interesting effects on the links etc

Hi snareklutz, firstly i do like your design i think it is clean which is always aesthetically
pleasing (to me atleast). I do think you need to sort out the alignment of your boxes though as this makes it look less symetrical, ie both boxes (main and nav) do not line up with the title bar (this is even more apparent at 800x600). Everything looks pretty much the same in Mozila. Your title/logo needs more work, but i think you have a good blueprint for a decent design there. The nav part of the page also needs to be looked at, it just looks empty. The font is quite small which is not too good for accessibility but i can read it fine. Lastly you do realise that the scroll bar stuff is IE specific?!

Anyways not a bad job imho, Gary

Thanks everybody for the feedback on the design on the layout of my site. I will try to work on it during the weekends.

I have another question though, does anybody know how I can get people to buy the "free image hosting" script on my site at $10.75? I have already posted it on hotscripts, and it's part of my signature on many forums, and yet I have not recived one single purchace. Really disapointing actually.

Thanks to all in advance.
