Hi, I just finished designing and laying out a site which I can do some design from. I want to hear some feedback about my site, which will hopefully allow me to do better things.

I would suggest running your text though a spell checker

I also would suggest the "TRADEMARK" logo have some sort of marking on it, so that people know to click it

Well, why even have that pop-up window? I find it annoying, and others do too. Not very professional for your "professional" site.

Just my thoughts.

The reason for the pop up was that I wanted to have that window open up in a defined size.

I'm going to bump this over to site reviews since that's what you're asking for. We'd like you to review some other sites if you're there (please and thank you!). Normally when you post in the critiques section you see our posting agreement which asks you to do that.

Not a bad start. I think the biggest problem here is that the splash page doesn't go with your main site design. The font is different, it completely lacks character etc. The main design is really nice - great concept, graphics, logo etc. The graphics are really great. Very eye catching and original. You might have problems with people on slower connections though.

I am having a few problems viewing it in Opera 7.5b. I'm getting a scrollbar in the middle of the page and sometimes the text runs into it. Also, I was quite confused when the site first came up with no content. I guess you were tryhing to show off the grahpic there but I was just confused - I thought something wasn't working.

Reading some of your text - I find the level of professionalism here to be lacking. Don't criticize your competitors. Concentrate on what you can do for the client. The last bit on the home page is good, but comments like "as cheap as possible", and "some design that took them 10 minutes" are unprofessional.

Anyway, go on and review some other sties and I'm sure you'll get lots of comments from others.

Thank you very much megan, I'm gonna open it in Opera right now and figure out what's happening, and thank you for the great tips on the professionalism, I think that is a very good point. On the opening page I was in fact trying to show off the graphic, I am debating whether or not to keep the first page empty at this very moment. Hopefully I will here from others and get some more insight.
