Please take a look at the new draft.
Any comment ?
IE-Users: Could you send me a screenshot ?!
I don't have access to a system capable of running IE.
Is there any better way to achieve the results with less tables ?
ciao
Anti
ps:
Thanks to Chris for the "draft" gif.

Yes,
first qwest was down,
then the backup script decided:
"if I can't reach the backup server, I'll stop the system."
Very funny
Now it should work.

Nice! Simple, yet effective. Very functional. A couple of things:
the backgrounds on your nav headers are slightly different from the background of the table cell. Weird... this happens in IE but not Netscape. Since you're probably targeting netscape users this shouldn't be a big deal.
I like the colour scheme. I think it would look really cool if you set the page background to that bright yellow colour you have. Changing the font to sans-serif would be a big help too.
The logo is really good too - that gradient bar along the bottom gives me the impression of time passing, which is a very appropriate theme.

1) Maybe add a picture of a penguin or something next to the Linux-History logo. I'd screw the page updated text also, since it looks tacky.
2) The bg color of the menu buttons is darker then the bg color of the table cell. Some type of image effect would look cool there also.
3) The main content area is pretty bare. Maybe add a small menu or news section or something to fill up part of the space.

Thanks,
for the first round of ideas.
I like the orange background.
I'll fix the navbar color problem.
Content is not the matter right now.
It will be added later.
