I think its perfectly nice to look at, but sparse. Content really is king with these kind of sites. You already know this i'm sure but there are hundreds of gamer sites out there. Maybe with your 'camo' look and reference to Metal Gear Solid you should just concentrate on that type of game. That way you can manage the site effectively.

I'm a bit of a PS addict, i play Gran Turismo a lot. On the front page of a website like this i'd like to see peoples top scores, latest walkthroughs and tips, user ratings and new game releases. The challenge is to include all this without the site looking busy!

I would say develop the site more and come back to us.

Cheers,

You are right about being green Wink
I'd add some more colour, is to green

there is a horziontal scroll bar at 800x600, probably caused by the 119% in the table tag

It's pretty good. The banner is a bit bland. Maybe some bits of screenshots up in the top or something, just to make it look a bit more professional.

Also, I noticed when I navigate to different pages, the navigation doesn't stay there. This is really a hassle because now your visitors will have to go back home before going to a different page, and for people on a low-speed connection may not have the time (or patience) to do so. Wink

Screenshots would be good, i am just wondering about the legality of stuff like that? Worth checking out what others are doing....

You get a horizontal scrollbar here => http://67.174.58.104/Revolution.html
And that's a "no-no". The site looks pretty okay for a newbie:)
Try to add some titles related to the content. For instance
Xbox 360 - Action Games Only instead of Catalog

I think the design is a tad too minimal. It's a good color choice for that genere of game, but it needs just a little more something to hit ya.

The content area needs padding, in Firefox the image in the content and the menu is flush. In IE7 the menu is not at 100% of the side, making it display not the way it's intended. http://www.ltparis.com/misc/images/ie7-actiongamesonly.png to see what I am talking about.

I think your main image is on a layer isn't it? IE and Firefox put it in different places. I'm afraid my CSS skills are zero but maybe someone can help you out? If it was in its own cell in a table (don't shoot me!) then it would look ok.
