Ok so this is another new site I just put up. I'm going for an automated site where I don't to regularly update content besides the odd tutorial on how to work the site. I'm trying to focus all my time on marketing right now. Creating the site including the layout and logos took about 2 weeks. So please review and be honest I'm not here to argue I'm here to improve my site!

Thank you

This looks good overall. The design is good and the message is very clear. I like the way you've higlighted the different image purposes on the front page.

I think the logo could be improved a little bit. The I should be lower case so it reads iUpload Here. That would distinguish the i from the Here more clearly and make it more readible. You could also try using the orange highlight colour a little more in the logo to make it pop out a little better. Right now the orange "guest" text is drawing the eye in that area, and the logo should really be more prominent because it is more important.

I think it would be nice if the layout was a little less boxy. Right now everything is sort of carved up and boxed into it's own little space. Removing some of the lines might be helpful.

A lot could be done here to improve search engine performance. The title tag is really important. Insert a tagline or short explanation there with some good keywords in it. So instead of just "iUploadHere" (see, the lowercase i is there), use "iUploadHere: Free online image hosting for eBay, blogs, forums, and more!" or something like that. Proper HTML mark-up is also important. You'll want to use header tags (h1, h2 etc) to create headers with important keywords in them. Search engines will know that this text is important.

Otherwise it looks good. The registration point is nice and obvious and I like the simple sign-up form. Best to make these things as easy as possible.

Thanks Kitchener ONT that's pretty close to me.. Yeah I really have to update my title tag.. and i'll look into changing the color the guest text so that the logo stands out more.

I like your layout, but it seems your border is thick for me, and too dark, maybe you could lighten it, or use black but make it thinner... The Logo Needs a Major Rework, it looks a little amateurish... The box borders again could be lighter in the content area, and the links should be outstanding... You can rethink the color scheme, maybe adding another color... It seems the site is adjusted to fit the google ad at the top, and as an idea, look at imagshack.us for inspiration...

Is slow to load on dialup and to be honest the more it loaded the uglier it got.
As Megan has said it is boxy, you really ned to do away with the four boxes in main content area and that blue/grey on the bottom right box (was clean until that loaded), also while waiting for it to load the three buttons didn't appear until the end, only main showed, when i went back to the top i saw the others so sat back and waited for more suprises to load.
The 'click here to learn how to use this site' should be a normal button (not changing on mouseover) and reworded, even just loose the 'click here', maybe even "learn how i upload here'

You'll need to get your FAQ page done, two questions I think people will look for would be, is copyright of images retained by member and how long are images hosted by you

I like the layout a lot. Lots of curves and only a few colors makes web pages easier to stay with. On the other hand, I think the back ground should be changed to a single color, not a repeating image.

I agree about the logo. The site looks good, but the logo looks 'messy' compared to the overall clean feel of the site. First off I'd try a better font, one that is cleaner and not so 'playful'. And maybe add some orange to it. The star shape that says 'join now' adds some pop to things, so I'm thinking that a spash of that orange in the logo just might work well.

The white text at the very bottom is impossible to read. I see there is a link down there but nobody is going to know it's there if they can't see it.

Clean and simple! Something I can lean from...lol

I would agree that the logo needs improving the "I" should be "i" as that seems to be the online industry way of placing that letter front of a title.

I hope the concept works, as you need a really robust server to actually make something like this work. When you are ready, I could link it within DontFart.com...if you wish?

I believe the site is simple and is enough for that kind of sites, I mean the user wants to host his/her images and doesn't want more texts.
So the contents are OK.

But I have some recommendations:

- FAQ section: it's better not to have a section, than having a empty section or an "under construction" section (credibility thing). So I believe you must take out FAQ section. If someday you make it, then just add this to the site.

- The same for Tutorials sections: if you don't plan to make more tutorials, then you can re-name the tutorials sections just to "how to use this site".
Credibility thing again.

Regards.

Looks very good. I have to agree with the comments about the 'Under Construction' pages. Not profesional. Just leave them out for now.

Aside from that, all good.

Why though do people make these sites? What's to be made from free hosting?

dunno, what the others think but i think the stroke on the white bit is just 1 stroke too big
