Hi, did you see the Posting Agreement? or did you post this in another forum first and it was moved? Anyway, take a gander at that if you get a chance. We would appreciate it if you could review a couple of other sites here, and I changed your thread subject according to the posting agreement.
I'll take a look at your site when I get a chance...
This looks good for a start. A few changes would make it even better though.
One of the first things that struck me was the colouring of the headers on the right side of the page - I figured out why the top two are green and orange while the bottom three are dark blue, but I'm not sure this is teh best way to separate the five areas. Maybe the 'programmers' part should just be orange - the green really sticks out there.
Another thing I think you should think about is adding more interest to the design. Maybe try to introduce some curves or diagonal lines. Also do something more interesting with the logo. There are lots of unique fonts out there that you could try, and you could also try to incorporate a symbol of some sort to represent your site.
Another thing is that the front page should be organized more to keep the important content closer to the top.
Otherwise a good job - I always like the dark blue and orange look
Seeing that it's a UK Site why not include NoChex has a payment option, because not everyone wants to pay in $'s, or even have a credit card. NoChex is simular to PayPal but uses Debit Cards (Switch, Solo, Delta) and it's a really easy and fast service to use. And it's local, which is great.
