Hello all.

Since my last post I have taken most if not all the advice given about Contest Hound. This included my own domain! http://www.contesthound.com

Could you please take a look at the site and let me know what you think. It is still a work in progress so not all links lead somewhere.

Thanks

[Just stopping in from redesigning my own site. :-)]

Anyways, I think the colors are too varied. I mean, what's the signifigance of having the yellow and then the red? It'd look a lot better if there was a standard.

I can't tell what the is making the 'O' in cOntest hound, either..

I think it's off to a good start, but the various design flaws such as the colors and things like that make it look kind'a bad.

Hi Mike.

I was struggling with the colors a little in the header. I wanted to emphasize the bookmark, newsletter and tell a friend options.

I have made it more uniform now and frankly, I think it has already made a big improvement.

Any more comments would be appreciated. I checked out your site and it is amazing!!!!!

Thanks

The layout is quite good, but the color scheme is quite plain.

Change the color scheme to something more "up-to-the-fashion"

Well, that's because I'm just amazing. Laughing out loud

-The design is great. It loads fast too.

-The only glitch I see as which has been pointed out is the color scheme. It is very plain and to me looks rather ugly. Use maybe some blue and orange or somethin. I have heard many people say this before. Look at professional sports teams uniforms, they usually have good looking colors.

Hello all.
I accidently started a new thread on this subject instead of a new reply.

I have changed the color scheme to blue and yellow. I really thought that the lime green was a "retro" color and quite modern but after all the comments on its ugliness ...

I just can't put my finger on it but it still seems to be missing something.

Any additional thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks again,

Bob
