Wow, this looks funky! What an original site! You're a very talented artist, Maryam Smiling I'm having fun looking around at the different artwork on there.

What I don't like here is the grey backgrounds on the main page. White might be too stark though... maybe a lighter orange or green... yellow maybe??? I'm not quite sure. I'm also not keen on the font choice - I would go with something a little less ordinary. Try Georgia here and see what it looks like, or even a slightly less common sans serif like tahoma. Verdana works for most sites but it's such a bore.

In the logo, put a little bit of space between the M and N so people can read it properly. I had troulbe figuring out what that said at first. That logo could also be a little bit bigger so it stands out more.

Well I particularly dont like the loading splash page... Read some other posts on this thread and youll see what I mean... Now on the contents, well its really really great... Your site is interesting and quite cute, now megan was right with the font, on the gray background it depends on you I dont have comments on that, comparatively look at megans blog, its quite nice... Good work youve done more than what I did with mine when I was asking for help...

I didn't even know there was a splash page until I read it here, it must have loaded fast. You should remove that.

Anyway, It's very original and creative. But you should try to make it less chaotic. There is so much 'going on' on the screen that I can not focus on the text.

In my opinion a website should be made in such a way that when you see it in the first second, you immidiatly know what it's about. But it's very very nice, I like the originality.

Just change the main page and navigation bar so it becomes more clear (the text that is).

I'll agree on originality, and give it an a+ on that. However!! I do not like flash, and neither does W3C your document does not validate, Bad for search engins.

#2. Take my advise and remove the metatag contact, you will be getting lots of e-mail no no's shortly with that one. Never put your e-mail addy in a metatag in your doc head, it's bad enough on the page. I put mine on the page, and so do lots of others. But every webbot from how to bake a cake to hard porn, will have your e-mail addy shortly. I learned this the hard way!.

Keywords: you have a ton of invalid keywords, these webbots view as spam. the only valid keywords for this doc are: paintings, animations, illustrations, mascots, and maryam, nasim. Keywords have to come from repeated text words, otherwise they are ignored. After so many the webbot classifies your page as spam. Almost everybody uses some non valid keywords to take a wild chance, but over two or three are a no no.

thanks steve Smiling you are pointing towards the issues no one else ever did and i never knew...thanks everyone else as well.....
now a question .... should i put keywords on everypage or just the index page?

Every page: each page that can get listed with a search engine gives you more exposure. If someone finds any page of your site, they find all. Just make sure you use words that relate to that pages content, and are repeated at least two times.

I often sneak little of seemingly no great benefit comments in on the sidebar, or foot of my page; just to get some key word I want. It has paid off.

Be sure to use the metatag:

I actually repeated all the keywords on index page for search engines .....but in the same colour as the webpage has.... tomorrow i'll put key words in everypage ...thanks steve Smiling something elsE?

Oh No; do not try to sneak keywords in the same as the page background color. The webbots are programmed to detect this. That will get you banned from every search engine from here to the north pole. You read a lot of these erroneous tips on the web, and it used to work. But they work to keep you honest now, "even if they are not". Smiling

I dont have flash installed so can't see the splash page or top section on any page.

The grey and green don't work together, I feel the grey is letting you down.

Pages like the full screen view of your work needs a logo at the top, and the 'back' image a bit clearer to read

Like I said I can't see the top section but wonder if you have links in it, thanks for using the skip intro and having text links at the bottom, make syour site still usable.

nice work
