Please Review My Webmaster Blog
Hello Guys,
I am currently setting up my new webmaster blog, http://www.silentgun.com .
SilentGun.Com will aim to provide webmasters a one stop source where they can find anything and everything about web development.
I would appreciate feedback and comments from my fellow webmasters such as suggestions on how to improve the site, what you like and don't like and your plugin suggestions to maximize my wordpress blog in terms of promotion, exposure and advertising income.

It looks pretty good and there's nothing that leaps out at me to change. The menu text is pretty small and gets lost on the page. Perhaps a more exciting tagline than 'web devleopment blog' would give it extra cred too.
I don't know about Twitter posts in the header, I'd be more inclined to put them in the right column and use the header for testimonials or banner ads to make you some money.
But otherwise I think it works pretty well.

Hi MWick,
On the whole I like the look of your site. It's clean and has lots to grab user attention and focus them on your blog entries. I really like the left-hand widget for the social network tools relating to an entry. The twitter text in the top menu isn't bad, but the font-size could be larger to better use the space.
The only problem I had was that the site seems to suffer from too much navigation. I like the feature entry on the landing page, but there are two horizontal menus at the top, four vertical menus on the right (five if you count the widget with the feature entry), and two more navigation menus at the bottom. I understand that you want to make it easy for users to find what they're looking for, but I think simplifying the navigation and maybe using a robust tagging system along with a site search might help streamline things. I didn't even realize you had that option at first since the Popular tags is all the way at the bottom. You could also think of having the navigation menu highlight where the user is, perhaps by changing the colour of the link for the archive page the user is on.
Otherwise I think it's a great site.
