I would like a frank opinion and reviews of my site by members. All suggestions good and bad are most welcome in order for me to improve my site.

Thanks.

I like the basic design. I think the logo is a little unappealing (to me anyways). I also don't like the aqua bgcolor of the table where the resources are listed.

The navigation could be a little better, the drop-down menu is fine. I just did not know what it was at first, you should try and mark it a little better.

Thanks captain14,

Could you advise what is the most suitable color for the resources table bg color?

What size logo would you suggest?
It is now at 310 x 62

Thanks for your reviews

Eh- it's ok. I would change the colors though...

1) Change the colors to something less "aqua."

2) Your logo is good, but I don't think it looks good standing alone.

3) Use bullets for each link on your side menu.

4) Maybe move your drop down menu into a side menu where your "affiliate resources" is right now.

    Thanks for your suggestions Rayna,

I will experiment with it and maybe redo my site if the results are good. Frankly I am a lousy graphics artist.

Regarding the rounded curve main table, I used psp4 to create the corner image as it was very simple to use, I understand the latest version psp6 has much better features. I need the grey box for images for the other pages and had no choice but use a uniform template including the main page.

Thank you for your time to review my site.

    Thanks Justin,

I appreciate very much your excellent reviews of my site.

I have noted your recommendations and expert suggestions and would comment that you are the best moderator that I have come across comparing to the other forums that I am a member.

    Thanks again.

Change the color of your logo to something darker. The current color is not appealing.

And also, your site lacks graphics. Maybe joining an ad-network will help, and earning money at the same time too!

    Thanks for the advise jackchen,

I have almost about 600 affiliate programs(50 pages) for my site and sometimes get confused with some of the merchants when I receive their checks.

I still find Justin's recommendation to be the best for my site.

My thanks to you, captain14 and to Justin, keep up the good work.

    NSS,

Well, you have several different colors going here. I would say choose three colors that compliment eachother and stick to them.

The rounded corners of your main table look a little jagged like they wer hand drawn, and the gray box within looks a bit out of place especially with sharp corners.

My suggestions would be to find an alternative to the gray box, like maybe a vertical line to seperate your menu from your content. Change the text link color to something that compliments your color scheme. Re-work your logo a bit and again change it to a color that compliments the colors of the site.

http://www.webdesignclinic.com/ezine/v1i1/color/index.html is a great article on colours you may find helpful.

I don't know if PSP4 has anti-aliasing, but that will help with the jaggies. www.ulead.com is the address for PhotoImpact, the competitor.

    Both have free trials.

    Cheers,

    Suzanne

    Thanks for the tips Suzanne.

As I mentioned earlier that I am lousy with graphics. Some pro who happen to read the message on this forum has contacted me by e-mail and prepared to design my logo and anything to do with graphics for free, in return, I need to insert a small text link below the logo to their site.

I am still working on it with them and hope that it will turn into a win win situation for both of us.

Well, thats all I am able to say now.

    Best regards,
