Welcome to TWF, wwwbug. Thanks for looking at some other sites first. It looks like English is hard for you so I will try to keep this simple Smiling

This site overall look pretty good. I like the blue colour scheme. What you should do is work more on the logo. Try using a more interesting font. The logo should also show up on every single page so the visitor can remember who you are.

Hi there wwwbug, is your site design from wordpress.org? Because if you look in the screenshots, it's the first one that comes up.

In which case, I'm not too sure what you are asking for. What are you trying to optimise?

There are tons of wordpress themes available on the web, I'd recommend checking some out. The default one gets kind of boring seeing it several times a week on different sites.

Site looks quite ok... but as the site seems to look like a template, you could have it personalized more like megans site... overall, works for your purpose...

Hey anyone tried tripod blogs? Its quite easy to edit the look and everything on the template is easily customizable... css files and different access files are accessible via its own edit window... its good for beginners...

This site has a nice simple feel to it.

I like it, just one or two suggestions for improvments Smiling

ok first off, the bullets down the entries on the main content area, and other headings Smiling

I think this would look a lot better if you used some kind of horizontal seperator. either a coloured HR tag or a graphical one Smiling Bullet points dont tend to look right to me when their used to seperate paragraph sections.

Second of all, your main menu has double line breaks between each menu item. These would look better if you used a single line break so they appear directly under each other. On the same subject, have you considered doing some CSS effects for your menus? webmaster-toolkit.com has a nice CSS menu generator that i use somtimes and it produces nice effects. the simple ones are the best Smiling

Apart from those 2 things, really nice site Smiling Keep up the good work!

I like your color choice, and layout is simple to follow.. simple is best.

As someone that owns a search engine we struggle with the relevance of keywords that are selected by the website publisher, and for that reason we both spider the site, and manual review. We can effect changes on our end that will not change the website only how it pulls up from our database. We are looking for strong content relevance, good html, and no redirect links.

Other search engines do the same so when selecting keywords be selective and focus on true relevance.

In the case of your site the editor that you have used has flaws that cause your description and keywords not to show up when spidered... something that is important for you to correct.

I wish you success, and I hope my comments help in some small way.

Regards

It's very plain and simple, which isn't always bad, as long as it is also unique. I have seen that template on so many blogs it makes it unappealing (to me, at least). I think a custom banner and a little more work with the template would make it much more attractive and fun. Wink

I agree with mscreashuns. Some sites just put a lot of graphics, etc. that the layout gets messed up. It's not and simple. I like the design. But one thing you need to work on would be the banners though and mabye the text should be a little bigger.

Other than that, it's a good site.
