Please Review My Site
Hello All:
I created a web site for a high-tech start-up company as a college assignment. The company has developed the software product successfully and would like to promote the product and service through the website. For now, the website is for my eCommerce course assignment. This is why the last step of the checkout process is under construction. I would appreciate is the members of this board can review the site

in term of functionality, usability and of probability of purchasing the product and the service.
Thanks in advance.

Your code is very clean and the functionality of the site is there. Unfortunately the actual aesthetic design is lacking. This site reminds me of a website from the mid to late 90's.

Walter is right. I understand not wanting to overshadow the content with "streams and sparkle" but Ortho Electronics is interesting. Liven the page up with a little color and font work. Other than that, it's highly functional yet user friendly

Actually I like the look of the site, it's easy to navigate, and easy to read. Quick and easy to find information.

Hi,
I'd agree with walter the asthetics of the site could do with a little improvement. It seems very plain. The checkout process, as it stands seems good and straight forward. would there be any benefit to you and your market to add social media links to the site for people to read about the projects that the company shows on the srvices page.
With the contact us page it may be useful to have a drop down menu for what it is they want to contact you about. It saves people having to write a lengthy comment to you. It also means it can be quickly passed to the right department within the business. For example on my contact us page people select the product they are interested in, eg. intruder alarms, fire alarms cctv etc. They then select what it is they would like, eg. more information, technical support, a quote, an appointment or a call back.
Dependant on which option is selected will depend on where the email goes to.

The site is simple and fine to me. But it has no real aesthetic design that will attract potential customers. You are selling equipment that costs $2000 and your site looks like a $50 website and there is no feel of confidence and security. I doubt if anyone will make few thousand dollar transaction on this site. So I strongly suggest you to improve the site design : )
Best Regards,
David

From the technical point of view the site is good and well coded. Static site with proper url naming which helpful in getting visiblity in search engine results. Keep it up and do some efforts on designing with more content on the website.

The colors are very plain and boring. The site does not look trustworthy as well. You would benefit from the use of better graphics and color schemes to attract users. Also the use of a protected payment service like Paypal may instill trust in your visitors. Navigation of the website is excellent however. Keep up the great work!

Functionality and usability are good enough. We would suggest the following:
1. Your website is made with oldschool tables, try to use Wordpress or even Wix platforms.
2. Find a good theme on a Themeforest, thera are a lot of industries.
3. On a Home page place Buy link in a middle of a page in a sales box.
Good luck!

Hello there,
I also just took a look at your website.
I like that it is easy to navigate and it is pretty well laid out.
I have to admit that contrary to other people I find your minimalistic design clean enough.
My advice would be to update the copyright information at the bottom as that one is obsolete.
The usage of images is also good. I would advise using some plugin or functionality which will enlarge photos for a better user experience.
