I could use some help, i just started a free sports forum, Its non profit site no banners or pop up etc.
It has no posts, if everyone that has in interest if NFL NBA MLB or any other sport could make a post that would be great.
thanks for your time,
Brandon

Just looking at it really quick I wonder why you have the United States flag logo type when your site is about sports? If your a true patriot why not make a us flag logo type and include something about sports since that's what your trying to target.

And why do you have a US flag when you have a forum for Manchester United? Why not encourage everyone to participate?
Why does everyone making a forum feel the need to make a separate forum for every possible topic? I don't understand it. It's completely unecessary and IMO harmful when you're just starting out. All I see is a row of zeros in the number of posts column. Why not start out with one forum for each sport? When you start getting posts your forum will look fuller. Then you can add more forums if there is demand for them.
I also wonder about what you think people will be talking about in these forums. WHy a whole forum for "Best Center" in the NBA????? That's a good idea for a thread, not for a whole forum. I also think that the major sports should be balanced, with equal importance given to each. You have 9 subforums for NFL but only 4 for baseball and basketball. And 0 for hockey And what happens if someone wants to talk about a sport that isn't covered by your forum segments? Make an "other sports" forum to pick up the leftovers.
Another problem is that the first three forums at the top are completely unimportant. There is nothing to discuss in these three forums, and yet they are the first things people see. Make a link at the top for rules, like we have here. Add a General Sports Chat and off Topic Chat at the top. People like it when they have more freedom to talk about what they want. The $50 free thing could be a sticky thread in one or both of those forums.
In general, think about what should be a thread and what should have a whole forum dedicated to it. Most of these subforums should just be threads within a larger forum. Remember that you want to get people talking, so post some responses, especially controversial responses. When people are mad they will want to talk back. Anything you can do to get discussion going at this stage is good.

I am no expert in website review but let me try to add my two cents.
First I think it's too plain. If I were a visitor, I would expect some type of sports news headlines at the top of the page like BoSox wins again! kind of things.
I don't think the color scheme is aggressive enough for sports fans. I COULD be wrong so don't flame me
May be a forum for current playoffs?
Nothing is too special about it. May be if you make it little more regional with high school games? It could attract lots of young people.
I don't think I will sigh up at this point unless I see added attractiveness to the site.
