Splash Page! This one is kind of pointless IMO, because there is nothing special or interesting on there. If you had a really cool flash animation or graphic (or a fun saying like robp's) it would be okay, but this....

That lime green is a problem. It's hard to read the white text on top of it, and the green is too bright and glaring. I also think that all of the text on there needs to be bigger - particularly the menu. The mouseovers on there are too faint too - you can barely see them.

I don't know about those pop-ups either. For a site like this, they're not inherently bad - kind of interesting and different ... experimental. It would help a lot if there was a "close window" button at the bottom of each pop-up page.

Overall the deisign is pretty good - very clean. A couple of changes would make it even better - like close window buttons in the pop-ups. Move that drop down menu to line up with the main menu or the quote you have to the right. I would put it all in a fixed width table and center it. Resizing the browser to different resolutions is throwing the spacing off and I think it would look better with more control of that spacing.

Hmm...

1) The lime green is cool, but it needs a better color to go along with it besides white. A darker color. Maybe blue or red or something. The white is just too white.

2) The splash page can go. But wait. Here is an idea...

3) Once you enter the site through the splash page, a pop up comes up that is like the main page, but everything loades in that window, instead of everytime you click on a link a pop-up appears. I've seen that done alot. What do you think?

Not much else...

I get a Javascript error on the first page after the splash page in NS 4.7. Links worked ok, so I don't know what the error is.

There needs to be a little more contrast between the white background and the green. Maybe you could put another color under the green so it stands out more?

It would be better to make all your pop-ups open in the same window, but I'm wondering if you really need them at all?

The font is waaaaaay to small, it's hard to read. I doubt you could read anything on the page on a Mac.

Any particular reason that the kontakt graphic doesn't line up with the rest of them?

Overall, I like the minimalistic look.

okay, things to do:

bigger fonts
not too many pop-ups
more page filling elements, perhaps graphics
perhaps a better background color

@ justin: when i enter through the spalsh page, a pop-up and the main page appears, is that right? and in the pop-up window there will be news,
contacts and so on.
sounds good, but i think many users will click the pop-up away, because they think that it is a banner from a webspace provider or something else.
i think i will change the most of your imprssions. thank you.

i'll wait for more comments.

I agree with everyone else: You need some more color and need to make a darker color to go with that light green.

You need to make the mouseovers more noticeable and make the Visited link the same as the Normal link. IMO it is ugly to have different links for those that have been visited.

Also, get your domain when you decide to really launch this thing.

One more thing: an english version of the site would be good to get more customers. A lot of english speaking people are surfing the web. Just a though.

I think this is the best plain site I've seen.

Overall, the layout looks plain, but in a nice way.
