Hi all, I would be very appreciative of some feedback on a site I have been working on….I know that there are some bugs in it with regard to Firefox, any help with them would be very welcome.

Maybe the yellow it's too strong and you could make the header a bit more complex. I love it anyway ... cute. Smiling

I like the way the slide overlaps the containing box. It really brings the page alive. oh and good job for avoiding comic sans. Loads of people would have made that mistake if they'd been doing a site of this type.

In my opinion I don't think you should use all cap's for your menu bar... just looks... wrong.

I like the kiddy colours (yellow and green), it makes it look welcoming. I also like the products page, it's set out quite nicely.

Maybe use a friendlier font? It's odd to have the really sloppy (though fitting) font as the header, and a really strict font for the links and body. You might want to use rollover gifs, or some images for the links since those will be basically static, and could make it a little bolder/friendler.

Very Impressive site. Maybe your navigaton link mouseover color should be something other then a shade of green, kind of hard on the eyes. Everything else looks good. "Web site design & maintainence by slickfish" I believe "maintainence" should be "maintenance".

Very nice lookig playgrounds

It would seem that in order to get one you would
have to come see me or be contacted by phone.
The phone number on the front page and the area you serve
would save me some time. Shocked Sticking out tongue

OK.....so not a lot of feedback but what I got is pretty positive....thank you Laughing out loud

A couple typos...put those in to see if anyone would notice....yeah sure.

I agree about the yellow, it's on my to do list.

Any suggestions for the mouseover on the main menu?

And contact info on the home page, good idea.

The info on the right hand side, you might want to try and move things in the list so that it matches the curve of the slide, like "Quality and Finishes" up, and "Non-slip platforms" down, and make sure that none of the words go over the slide, because then you can't read the whole word.

the purple on pastel blue, and turning green on hover is an odd combination, but certainly not jarring, and still readable.

Very nice creative unique design. Only comment is change your header. Header gif animation is very slow and choppy. Other then that great job on the design.

What is it with the grey backgrounds today? This is the third site I've looked at here today with some variation of grey in the background. This site would look 100% better on white. Then the candy colours you've used would really pop.

I think the overall design is nice here. Good choice of colours and I like the way you've played with angles. This would be much better if you had some better quality photos to work with on the front. Both of the children look very shadowy. Try playing with the levels and see if you can fix that. Otherwise, you might want to suggest that the client have some professional photos done. They should do this anyway - it'll go along way in all their promotional materials. Even the product area doesn't have real photos, just cad mock-ups.

I also think that you could do something more interesting with the navigation here. It's pretty dull. Even changing the dashes to something different could make it more interesting. Try playing with the font here too. I'm not sure that verdana is the best choice. Even a subtle change like tahoma or even arial might make a difference. Looking at your CSS I see that your body text has tahoma first in the font definition while other elements have verdana first. I think the tahoma looks better with your design.

The pop-up photo enlargements should be *much* bigger. It think this is a mistake made by a lot of product & e-commerce sites. One of the things people are looking for when they go online is details about what they're looking at and bigger photos are the best way to provide that.

Congrats on the table-free layout!

ETA: read the previous review and realized that I forgot to comment on the animation. I agree that it's way too slow and choppy, and would add that the font choice is terrible. Just lose it.
