What is this site supposed to be about? Who are their target audience?
If you can't answer both these questions on the first page, it have "failed" as an effective web site. At first, I thought it would be a personal blog, then, looking at the entries, they seems to be links to news articles. So, is it a blog site? Or is it a news sites?
Never assume that your viewer will have the default background colour of their browser set to white - which in this case, it seems like you have. For those who don't have white set as the default, they get ugly strips for white where there are images or you have defined white. As a rule of thumb, one of the first things to do when making a site is to set the background colour.
Although the top two pieces of graphics are very well done, try reducing the sizes of them because the main thing in a web site is it's content. Especially if it's a blog/news site. Also, you may want to try increasing the font size as well, for those who are on larger resolutions or have difficulty reading.
Thanks to the web developer extension in firefox, I was able to see what it looks like with a white background - and it doesn't really look too bad. One thing that I'd like to point out is that, you have a lot of colours on that site - which isn't bad in itself - try though, to keep to a simple colour scheme.
At the moment, you have pink, brown, white and grey as strong colours on your site. Try picking one or two of those colours and making a colour scheme out of it. That way, it looks a little more organised than just a mess of colours.
Off to a good start. Keep it up

Did they find it easy to understand? Not really? whats the topic about seems to be a personal blog site....
Did they find it appealing to the eye? No, to many colors not organized... like Renegade said ""At the moment, you have pink, brown, white and grey as strong colours on your site. Try picking one or two of those colours and making a colour scheme out of it. That way, it looks a little more organised than just a mess of colours.""
Did they get lost or find themselves stumbling into a dead end? No, just your resume link should have a TEXT ( HTML) link, also instead of just .PDF..
but good job on the .php format..

Dig how it looks but lose the pink and keep the browns. Might want to shrink the really colorful header part to as mentioned, it takes up alot of room.

I like the layout but not the two scroll bars thing, its annoying when using the scroll wheel. Also the site needs a description on the homepage.

The site looks cool, but I would comment some things:
- Big header: I think you can reduce the size of the header, it fits more than a half of the screen.
- Texts in a litle iframe or div: if you want to give your visitors texts to read, please do the text area bigger.
- The right side of the main body: maybe you can reduce its size too.
- So the main idea is: more space for contents, less space for static contents and graphics.

the white space between sections could be a little bit smaller, and i also had to really look around to figure out what the site was about
other then that it looks very good

1. What is the audience for the site?
2. What is the point of the site?
3. Too many colors look odd. Header looks really odd.
4. Scrollabe frame in the center is a big "no-no".

Love the design, graphics and header. A bit hard to figure out what's going on content-wise but on visual appeal, I think you've got it sussed.
