Ummm because my browsers all have searchbars already, and I can choose from a multitude of engines.

Well, I might use it if it weren't for the reason Roo mentioned, or the fact that I wrote something like that about 6 years ago for my first site. Even without browser support, it's not really that necessary today with things like dogpile.com, etc.

Quick query:

Should the Images and News links be clickable, or have you not finished it yet?

Personally I like the site. I'm setting it to my homepage for the time being anyway. I think that it's a very convenient way to go and I think that the dictionary, thesaurus, and encyclopaedia are nice touches. I don't see any reason why I wouldn't set it to my home page. You might consider adjusting it so that there isn't a fold. It's a nice little page and there's no reason to have the fold. when you're going for something simple, keep it VERY simple. I also have never really understood why all search engines have to have the different colors for all the tabs, and why every search engine even has to be tab driven, but whatever, it's your page. I just get annoyed by the green on the news search.

you know, i might like this site more if you took down the links that dont work... ie. most of them. other than that, it is pretty useless like the other people said. i only really use google anyways, so why have the option of using msn.com or ask? if you wanted it to me good you would add some meta search engines as well.

For the reasons already stated, I would NOT use this.

If I want to search YAHOO, I'll visit YAHOO.com. If I want to search MSN, I'll go to MSN.com. If I want to search MULTIPLE engines, I'll goto dogpile.com (it searches MULTIPLE engines at once).

I think that one thing that has been overlooked by a few people is the personal links feature. I think it's really handy to be able to set this up as my home page and anything I want to know is at my finger tips. I use one mouse click instead of typing in a url. What can I say, I'm lazy. Anyway, I think that you shouls move it all to the right so that the personal links can be seen once they've been added and you should move it all up a little ways. The site is pretty simplistic. You should be able to keep it within the folds.

I think your site is a pretty nice idea. It combines all of the sites i'd normally go to in one search engine. Very clean and simple layout, and it gets the job done. Nice work!

Not much to say, but I will still.... SUBMIT INPUT!(I couldn't resist?)

The site is fine in that it has a very clean design, very futuristic functionality, and a nice, attractive colour scheme. However, just as Roo mentioned before, there aren't many reasons to use it.

I think the most can be said about the logo, it looks liek you mage it in 2 minutes... Play with the colours and come up with something that works for both you and your customers. That's it for the put in... input... ****! Laughing out loud

It's good but it's not very interesting. As soon as I saw the page I fell asleep. Try and spice it up a bit.

I think it's a good idea and I think that you should continue to work on it as it could go far
