Greetings,

After several years of watching the PPC industry grow and mature, we suddenly came to realization that there are very few websites that really cover the PayPerClick search engines and resources. Most concentrate on regular search engines and simply dedicate a section to PPC.

In any case, we've set on a path to develop our own PPC resource site and two months later, we would like to present you with PayPerClickUniverse (http://ppcuniverse.com).

The website will be launched within the next 2 days. We've tried to made it very ad-light, as it's not our goal to reap a profit from the site within the first year or so, but rather build up a loyal audience instead.

The site is 98% operational and we would truly appreciate any ideas and suggestions you could give us to truly make this the leading resource website in the PPC industry.

Looking forward to your responses!

Boris
p.s. If you've had experience with any search engines or tools that we list on the website, we encourage you to post a review for our audience.

This looks pretty good. I'm not an SEO person so I'm not all that familiar with your content. The text does look awfully small to me. It's going to be hard for anyone to read a lot of that. Gives me a headache just looking at it. This is a common problem with SEO & Marketing sites. People try to fit so much text on the page. It's a sea of text. You might want to read up a bit on writing for the web. Your sentences are really long here and it makes things more difficult to read. It's important to break things up more for screen text as opposed to print. Shorter sentences are good. Also use headings and bulleted lists to break things up.

Other than that, I think the header could use a little work. I"m not sure what's with the cafe photo behind the logo there. I also think the "weekly updates" button is a little too big - it's competing visually with the logo. I think the top navbar should stand out a little more. Maybe moving it under the header and adding some background styling would be a good idea.

Reading some of your text (as well as I can with that little font size!), it looks like you've done a good job of explaining things. This will be a good site for people who are new to this.

For me there's just a little bit too much information at once for me to take in.

PS How d'you get the sponsorship from AdWatcher?

As I was reading the article (PPC 101) my eyes were starting to strain after awhile (I forced myself through the whole way through because it was interesting). For a service like PPC, the front page looks intimidating and too overwhelming of getting customers to sign up. Most sites would have a few key words (usually in a graphic presentation rather than text in HTML) that summarizes the site's aims. Then a few other pages would be added to help people get a more clear understanding of what the site is all about.

After considering everybody's comments, we will reduce the amount of text on the front page.

Any suggestions on how to organize it better? What should be removed? What should be added?

Guys,

I've made some modifications on the front page and would truly appreciate some comments regarding them.

I'm also considering re-arranging the items on the sidebar, but not quite sure what would be the best arrangement.

For the design aspect I like it a lot, my only suggestion is that table that says

"New To Pay Per Click? Experienced User?" the color of the top looks out of place, I think it should be bolder like the orange for the updated weekly graphic at the top

I like it just the way it is, but maybe you could put a heading at the top, like "Articles"
