Vel, maybe you should review some other web sites first before you ask us to review your website..

Alright, here are some thoughts on your design.

First of all, I actually think the splash page is a goood idea in this case. It sort of prepares one for the rather shocking effects inside. I really don't like how you've used those borders on that page though. I think it would be better without them. I do like the logo a lot - maybe it could be bigger here. Also re-do those rounded corners on the white edge, they look a little jaggy to me.

INside: I'm not really sure that you need to have this come up in a pop-up. It's annoying for me because first I had to turn pop-ups back on, and now it's not fitting in my browser window (Opera 6, free version). YOu could definitely reduce some of the white space at the top and move the whole thing up a bit, making the window shorter.

I do really like the painted effect you've used on here. However, I think that you need to smooth things out a little bit in the center area. What I see is the red paint, then there's a pink-ish band on the canvas texture. Then there's a white band. Inside of that is the pinkish block on which you've got your text. I think that the white band needs to go. Actually, it would probably be better if there was no pinkish colour.

There's something else about this design that's bugging me but I'm not sure what. It's something about the way the levels of sub- navigation are organized. I definitely do not like the use of the next/back buttons. I find that those tend to be really confusing on a website - just because I'm unsure as to what is supposed to be next. Is it following along the navbar? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I think the point of the web is to "choose your own adventure" so to speak - as designers it's our job to make that possible.

Splash page: Hmm..not such a good idea.

Pop-up: Bad idea.

Pop up frame - Love it! How'd you do it with those thin black borders?

Pop-up page painted effect border: Beautiful. Brilliant!

Copy: "Enthusiasm, passion and creativity go into everything we work on"

Blase. Bland. Boring!!!

For a creative company, you need to do better than that.

Falls flat compared to the brilliant look.

That's pretty much it I guess.

Great work. Make it even greater.

I really must say that the popup isn't a good idea. Sad

1) I had to turn off my popup-killer
2) This didn't fit well in my screen res (800x600)
3) No minimize button
4) No window operation menu in taskbar

The rest of the design is quite attractive. I like the way you've used red as a primary color.

I agree with Megan regarding your navigation setup. I'd go for a more standard format. Wink

Overall, good job. Smiling

Sorry, I'm going to have to join in the chorus when it comes to the pop up.

I wanted to see your site, but my screen wouldn't show it all.
If you really must use a pop up and you really want to have it that large, why not have scrollbars set to auto.
That way even people with smaller screens could still see your site.

I must tell you... I like your painted frame very much! Very clever. Smiling

I feel you have a really good site here...
all you need to do is make it accessible to people who can't see your whole pop up screen.
