Well, I just participated in May 1 Reboot and CSS Reboot, and all the kinks (shoud be) are worked out, so here is the new, and hopefully stable orangedrop creative.

Wow, your site has some really good graphic and a nice layout. *jealousy...jk* I would include the text under "Broken Down" as a new paragraph to your introduction without a new header. Also, your homepage is labeled as front in both the link and title on the page...is that intentional? You should capitalize your company name in the page title and only have that orange side bar overlap up to the white line (i.e., it shouldn't go over the text "news". On the past clients list, I would double-space and bullet the list because its only four names right now. Check the Cambridge Community Library Link; your don't want prospective clients to see and error page and on the contact form, all the fields should be even in one column, even if it means being more spaced from the text. Nice work and good luck!

Alright, got rid of "Broken Down", looks better.

Front is another term for home. I've always disliked "home"

About capitilization in the title, the slogan is kind of like the Petsmart thing. Is it "Orangedrop Creative. Designs for a better internet"? Or is it "Orangedrop. Creative designs for a better internet." If I capitalize the name, I have to pick one.

As far as the orange sidebar header, I need it that big in case people make their font bigger (you can change the font size up to a reasonable amount, and the page won't break down. It looks a little skewed after a while - the sidebar goes below the content, and the links get out of wack).

My portfolio is wack right now... it's a long story...

I'll see what I can do with the contact form when I get a chance. I think that would be a suitable place for a table

Very good first impressions, but it just seems that there is something missing?
-More imaginative in-text headers maybe?
-More in-text images?
I'm not sure, but it's almost at the 'wow' factor which I think will secure an instant sale.

I don't know why but this website reminds me of something I've seen before... I can't think where right now. Did you draw inspiration for this from another site or did you do it yourself completly from scratch?

I've been told that it looks similar to the old design of seemecreate.com

I may have subconciously drawn inspiration... I think he was putting the site up for review at the time. I didn't realize that it looked similar until it was pointed out to me, and they do kinda look the same. Since then, seemecreate has redesigned, so you can't see the other site.

But, do you like it?

Well it looks good and professional, however orange and blue is traditionally the colour scheme associated with "dot com" internet startups and that can make people wary of using your services.

You know, I probably should have realized that. I actually chose the colors because they were associated with computing. I think I was reading an article about colors at the time.

It looks familiar because it's very similar to a lot of css driven sites, not that there's anything wrong with that if you don't want to stand out Wink

I get the hint. I'll probably do another redesign in a couple of months... Maybe try something more CSS Zen Gardenish...

Glad to see you're trying so many different things... Striving for perfection is always a good thing, what I would like to point out is that your designs are getting markedly better with each new incarnation. The fact it's a bit samey is the only problem I can find with your current design that's a good sign, also I hope you're having fun with all these redesigns!

It is fun, but at the same time it's very frustrating, although my latest site went off without a hitch. I really feel like I'm getting a hold for everything now.

I don't reccomend redesigning too frequently though as a consistant image helps grow your brand recognition.
