Hi there,

I have been working on a web site for a band from the UK for quite some time now.

I am in need of some help as I want to improve the web site as much as I can and this is the perfect place to do that, hopefully.

I want help with the basic layout of the site, colours and where can I incorporate some Flash.

The web address is http://www.stouffa.co.uk

Please get back to me with some ideas.

Cheers,

Steve.

Hi, sorry it took me so long to get back to you - I've been busy lately and haven't been able to keep up with the posts here as quicky as I'd like to.

As for your site, well, it looks pretty much the same as it was the last time I looked at it...

The splash page graphic is so much better in quality compared to the rest of the website. The two just don't seem to belong together.

I like the blue spiral background on your pages, but the logo, and the white buttons with text need some help. They are jaggy and not very clean looking at all.

The flash pop-up is okay - not very intersting. But it also is better in quality compared to the rest of the site.

Since I'm a novice, I can comment from mostly a user's perspective. The only major thing that caught my eye that the 'Gig Guide' & 'Credits' page seemed to have an empty, black image at the bottom. Like the animation wasn't showing up at all. Just a thought - maybe render the menu text, as vector objects, unless the combined .gif's make it load alot slower.
Overall, the first impression was iffy, then after a couple minutes looking at it, it was pretty cool. I didn't notice any pictures of the band.

Keep it up

Hi there,

Cheers all for replying to that message about my web site. I will take all views into consideration just like I wanted to do and make some improvments!
