yes, the colors are kinda... weird. Yellow and black look okay, but that is a lot of black, and with that type of design so much darkness is opressive. The yellow is a very interesting shade at first i thought 'yuck' but if you chose a different combination it might prove to be very effective.. you could try grey, but that is my solution to everything, so. Also, do you REALLY need the bid JLS and welcome images? It loaded kinda slow for me, on a cable modem and getting rid of those would speed it up. YEs, it will look empty but you could try typing a welcome not or something. I like how you used the splotchy-fady background in the left nav collumn and main frame, it looks cool and ties it together well.

you say the site loads slow?
I thought cable modems were faster than dial up hmm
it only takes 13 seconds on my 56k modem,

but it could be because the server in in new zealand?

i have uploaded a revision the background now had a image, I am likeing it at the moment but I would like anothers opion.

thx

I still believe you should change the colors, they don't make me want to stay - http://www.colormatters.com . The site is pretty good, if it wasn't for that color. The background shouldn't be black.. It makes the site feel cold and dark, unless that's what you going for?

Donno if this has been mentioned, but I notices "Adds" is used int he wrong context, should be "Ads". Nice site though.

Yeah...the colors. Although I don't like them I do like the site, particularly because of the lay-out and the details.

I really like black and yellow too - but on my screen the yellow looks like pea green and is not so good looking.

The rest of it looks really good except the middle text. Just seems to be quite a bit of it. Is there any way to remove some of the info from the home page? If not - no worries - overall the layout looks really great!
