OK, I'll give you something - the site definetley draws your attention. I'll be honest, having backround sounds doesnt do it for me, perhaps you should have an option to turn it off! It's a good multimedia site but you need an option for perhaps text only or something to aid people with slower connections.

Also, the whole point of your site is very difficult to make out!!! You may know immedietley what it's about but think about your target audience.

If you have done all the multmedia yourself, give your self a pat on the back, then get back to work & start streamlining it. Also, the colours & text are too dark & slightly too small. It looks fairly bad I imagine in anything other that IE or Opera.

I kinda' like it though Sticking out tongue

I feel like you have an interesting idea for your site here, however I think the implementation could use a little work.

I have to agree that background music and noises can be really annoying. I surf with the sound turned off just to avoid it. I turned the sound up to hear yours and instantly thought of some gothic castle and a group of unfriendly vampires.... maybe not what you were after. Wink
The fact that I had to hit the off button on the sound everytime a new page loaded was very very annoying. You can fix it so the sound stays off.
Do have to say thank you though for making it a short enough sound and not looping it!

I was also surprised to have to wait on the exact same header to load on each page. My suggestion would be to either have that as part of an outer (flash movie) frame that your inner frame loads into so the header only loads once. Another option is to load a different header on each page so that visitors feel they're waiting for a reason.

I couldn't get any of your page links to work from the portfolio page.

Yes, the small white text on the dark background was hard for me to read too.

On a purely subjective note, I feel like you could have done a lot more to push your design further. I don't know if this is a flash template or your own design, but the machine part, frame bits don't seem to have any purpose. They just look a little too stuck on for my taste.

I hope you don't feel like I'm just picking on you here! I just saw a few of the sites in your portfolio and feel you could do better than this.
You've got the talent... don't be afraid to push it. Laughing out loud

gotta finish redesigning my sites so I can show them again.

Background music is rated number 2 or something like that of web surfer's hates. Also I don't like the blank void at the bottom. What I do really like though is the really cool graphics and the navigation. just try and make it a little more user friendly

I'm not a moderator or anything, so this really isn't my place, but it is appreciated that if you ask for a review on your site, you help out by reviewing at least 3 other sites as per the posting agreement

Unless my page is loading incorrectly, there is excessive scrolling for just extra/extended background.

I think a clear, cut, defined theme will help the site drastically.

Even though others have said it I can't urge you strongly enough to turn off the sound. This is my #1 annoyance about web site and it usually just make me leave right away. Even when I turned off the background noise, The site still made noise when I moused over the links. This is an extra level an annoyance I have never encountered before.

On the graphics side, the whole thing felt very cramped. It feels very boxed in. I'd use a much more open, inviting design if you are looking for other businesses to dwsign for. They don't want there sites to feel cramped and dark.

Its also not immediatly clear what the user should click on. The links cannot clearly be identified as link, I had to hover over several different pieces of text to figure out what was a link.

On the plus site there are some great looking graphics on the page. There does seem to be some real talent going into this.

OK, a few problems like sound, no meta tags, copyright 2003, and traffic counter show less the 600 visitors.. a few items

If you are in the business of web design these are more important than someone that threw up a site and did not know any better.

I hope my comments help

First of all, your overall design grabbed me, because I like dark mysterious-looking sites. Cool

However...they don't sell for crap.

You'll receive high accolades from other designers and artists, but potential clients (business people who often want quick answers) are going to think you're weird.

Actually, I don't know who your client base is or will be, but you should always look at your site through their eyes, not yours. The usual cliches are true: does your site solve a problem, answer a question? It's not enough just to grab attention. Smiling

Wow. If you don't get in quick, everything is already said . . .

I think it looks excellent, the animation at the top didn't take long to download either, which is always better!
I really like the graphics and sounds you used on your Web site. It certainly grabs my attention! Smiling

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science.

Nice design, but I wouldn't associate it with a web designer

Very nicelly done, good design, but too "busy" for a web design firm. You propably want something more approachable for potential customers.
