So we could help each other out, I'll review yours and can you please review mine too, it is posted on the same area as yours, for a link here it is: http://demonhale.tripod.com... Im a noob too so heres my opinion about your site.

Your Layout is quite good and the coding could have been a little cleaner. What I would like to comment about is your use of font sizes as well as font colors. The general theme Reddish and Green Colors is quite good on the top but the purple and bluish green on the background is not matching the whole design. Also the orange text on orange background on links is also quite a problem...
For cross browser compatibility, it views ok on ie6, mozilla firefox, opera as far as i tested... loading time is quite short in broadband too... hope Iv'e helped.

Hello, Natercia! Welcome to TWF Smiling

About your site ... um .... yikes! That's an interesting colour scheme! Really, I'm having a hard time getting past the garish colours on here. Tone it down a little! Smiling

I'm getting a lot of horizontal scrolling in Opera 8.0 and in Firefox there is a lot of empty space at the bottom of the page.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what this site is actually about. The first few posts are just about stuff that's happening on the site so that doesn't tell me much. A blurb at the top, or a tagline under the logo, would help first time visitors to figure out what's going on here. I can find that out by scrolling down and reading the first post, but that won't be on the front page forever.

It looks like everything else on the site is run by a forum/content management system. Why not use that for everything while you work on your design skills? Or maybe you just want to concentrate on the content and let the script do the design work. That's fine. It is confusing when you move from the colourful front page to the other pages that are much more conservative looking. They even have a bulit in blog feature that you can use for your own commentary. Work on customizing the forum template to match the spirit of your site.

It sounds like you've got the makings of a really successful community here. Good luck with it!

That is one electric colour scheme!

Nice site, except it's slightly disconcerting that when I hover over 'Member Login' it changes to 'Donations'. Is this a hint about anything?

Maybe if you added some more content to your site it would do better. The lay out and design are good. But I'm not crazy about the colors.
