Hello everyone, I just launched my website in it's entirety a few days ago. I would really like some professional input and some suggestions for improvement. I've been working on it for so long now, that it's difficult for me to remain objective.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated - Craig.

personally I dont like the colors, it would look better with 3 tones of colors, background-menu-top parts of menu. On the main page I think it would look better with vertical lines around the front page news. Other wise looks good Smiling

I agree with teammatt3, i don't like the colors, they just don't seem to match for some reason. also, i don't know but you might want to put your first announcement, the one describing the site, up on the page be cause i had to scroll all the way down to see it.

Overall the site is easy to read, easy to navigate, but hard to find it's purpose. I would suggest a header stating what the site is.

I also partially agree with the colors, they look ok, and make for a clean design, the red just doesn't fit to me.

Thank you everyone for your reviews so far. I appreciate you all taking the time to give me your input.

I'm a little confused about the color thing - could anyone give me some suggestions on how to improve it? To my biased eyes everything seems to blend Wink Smiling

Thanks again for the support. This is an outstanding community here, and I'm very glad I stumbled across it. I'll be sure to continue reviewing sites and offering anything I can to help contribute!

Alrighty, I'm gonna give this a shot.

In my opinion, I would look at changing the Menu's on the left to the Blue color that you are using for the Blog headers.

To me, the Red just seems to be out of place since it's the only place that particular color is found. For instance, if the Logo had red in it, the Menus would probably flow into the page more. However, in that case the Green might stand out a bit too much.

Just one of those color balancing issues I suppose! Good Luck!

This looks really good. I like the design a lot and the logo is fantastic.

The colour scheme does need to be pulled together more. The logo is orange and black and yet the design is done in red, blue, and green. Why???

Another big problem is the links - make them look like links! People need to know what they can click on. Also, the font size in the content area is a little too small to read comfortably. And make sure that you have adequate margins on either side (i.e. "About the site" page). BTW, this page does nothing to explain what this site is actually supposed to be about - that's on the "About the Author" page. The "what does this site run on" could be very confusing to many people.

i like it. Good, simple design. I only have one request:

Please remove the link to Homestar Runner!! that site has become something of an untreatable desease. ~~(@-@)~~

Good site tho. Good job Laughing out loud

I like the simplicity but some of the colors don't look nice next to each other... like the logo orange with the green... and the blue title bar with the menu bar... consider changing them around.

Hi all - just wanted to let you know that I took into account what was said here, and made some MAJOR design changes. I would like some more feedback if possible, to help me improve the site.

I appreciate everyone's time - thanks in advance.

Thanks! Does anyone else have any opinions to offer? I would greatly appreciate it, I've got a lot of hours into this site and would like to make it as good as possible.

This site is beautiful but I don't know why in the first page it's impossible to click in the pics in the right column. Shouldn't have a link in it ?
