New Web Hosting Comapany edited template purchased 60 dollar range
Okay I've edited my template. I'm trying to optimize for keyword search and readability. Do you think I have done a good job of presenting the needed information to close the sale? I see so many users exit the site after 3 minutes and don't even come near the order process.

If I may offer a suggestion, the little flash thingy in the upper right hand corner takes a loooooooooooooong time to load and Im on dsl. If I hadnt wanted to see what your site was (from this forum), I probably wouldnt have stuck around to see that thing load.

Thanks for looking at some other sites!
This is a good template adapatation. I am starting to be able to identify template sites just by looking at them but yours isn't so obvious. One of the keys is the logo, and you've got a decent one here. It might make sense to have the i lower case though. That seems to be the norm with that sort of thing.
One of the problems I find is that when I try to click on one of the plan boxes I can only click on the "order now" section. Make the whole box clickable instead. When I click on it I get something outside of your template with really horrible, garish colours. I hope you're planning on changing that.
I think it might be a good idea to take out or reconfigure some of the boxes in the lower part of the screen. The content seems too divided up and I'm getting confused. Maybe that's just me... it's at the end of the day and I'm sort of tired.
One thing I usually want to see when I'm looking for a new host is a comparison of plans available. I expected to see that when I clicked on "hosting" from the right side menu. Instead I got a jumble of other stuff, and after much examination, I found the comparison labelled "package matrix". A lot of the text on here is small, light, and hard to read so that is making things even more difficult.
On closer examination, the "support" button looks overcompressed in comparison to the others.

My only comment is it takes to long to load, would review your site more but it's taking forever to load.

Great comments I'm working right now with webpostion gold's site analysis to conform to ranking standards and keyword density. I agree my order form needs major modification. and I need a better plan comparision link and css changes on the comparision table.

I made a few changes to the hosting page. I took out the intro flash on main page and replaced it with a faster loading version.

you should maybe try validate your code, there are a few problems.
things like some browsers don't mind stuff touching if they have quotes, but some do (bgcolor and width), The height is valid, the alt isn't valid (belongs to img tags), this btw is the very last section before the end of the page.
In mozilla the bottom section, between, live support and meeting the demands, there is a gap.
I don't have the flash plugin so didn't have to go through the load time, but even thou the flash didnt load it was still a little slow on dial up, I think some of it could be your code. You can compress your images more by changing to .png format and setting to 256 colours, most jpg's can handle that few colours, if not increase slightly. gradients can't handle 256.

I fixed the things you spotted. PNG would come out too fuzzy for the gradients.

One little thing I've noticed - watch the case of your headings. One the front page you have "Meeting the demands" with demands in lower case while all other titles are full capitalized. On the hosting page there's one header done in block capitals while all othe others are title case. "Monthy Special" looks a little to far towards the top of the box.
Another thing - it would be good for your SEO if you could do these as plain text headers instead of graphics. Use some CSS and they'll look the same.
I'm wondering if there is some rationale as to the colours of the boxes...

Yes I could go back and use td background and use text titles and define in css to about say 14pt. Since has higher relevancy in keywords I'm going on the right track don't you agree?
Do you like the changes in hosting with more information. Is it less confusing now as to what the packages offer?

After going back and looking at the whole table layout, it's almost impossible to position table cells where I want them without messing up the template. At least at my skill level in dreamweaver. I changed the case in that one header.

Try using CSS to define the background colour of the H1 tag. Play with the margins and padding a bit and it might work out that way.
"Hosting Package Matrix" should be changed to "Compare Hosting Plans". That would make it more clear IMO. I still think that the page should be restructured by eliminating some of those boxes to make a larger main content area.

I whole heartedly agree. Thanks for the suggestion on Compare Hosting Plans. I am considering using another template with greater main body area and slimmer left <=> right rows.
What I might do is after optimizing the content with web postion gold which I am extremely fond of, is judge vistors to orders. If people exit the site too much from a certain page I will drastically restructure the whole site with a new template. Templates are less expensive than hiring a designer. One day I probably will hire a SEO and a designer. Oh the dreams! haha!

Having the same picture of the three people on with the quote on top of every page seems a bit much. I would put this on top of only the home page and allow the other pages to have more content displayed.
The "Chat Live Sales" and "Chat Live Support" should be a little different for each one. I thought it was the same button duplicated twice until I reallt stared at them for a while. (Although that might just be my poor reading comrehension!)
The red "Click Here to login to our Trouble Ticket system" is hard to read on the blue background. It also has incosistant capitalization.

Okay I"ve done some changes and would like to know what everyone thinks of them if you don't mind? Everyone's input really helps me out SO much. I think I've actually learned some things along the way.

I looked at your site.. Mostly because of your 3 min comment.
My thoughts?
Creditability is the issue. So many offers floating around. Hosting a site for someone seriously considering a business on the WEB the host is important. Your first time business maybe you could set the hook because they are price shopping, but not so much a person surfing the WEB looking for a hosting Company.
Building a business around WEB hosting now days would be tough, not impossible, but tough.
You need to start small and build on word of mouth… price is not as much of an issue as reliability. I have some sites with different hosting Companies, and I have one that I would love to move, but they understand my database functions so it makes it tough to move even though I know I am paying to much.
For smaller sites, that I plan to develop at a later time, I do host with a Company that is cheap because price is more important than dependability. These sites are parked more than anything else.. once I start to introduce them as a serious business site they will be moved at that time.
I am rambling about my own thoughts as a way to help you understand your target market.
Design of you site? No comment.
Good Luck and I hope my comments have helped a little.
