New Slogan & Color
I've changed my slogan and color of my website. Does it looks better now?
Currently, my slogan is: "GoodBookmarks - Press Ctrl + D." Is this cool enough, or you have a better suggestion?
And not to forget, the URL : http://www.goodbookmarks.com/testing/
And one more thing. Besides ISyndicate, is there any website around that provides news that I can link to?

I'd have to say your site loads a little slow and doesn't really grab the attention of my eye. Those are two key aspects that hurt it first and foremost. Also, you need to make the point clear of what your site is exactly about. Maybe in your logo you could put a small description or purpose the of site. Hope that helps. Good luck.

1) Yuck! Colors don't go together at all.
2) The main part of your site is much too close to your side menu.
3) CTRL + D isn't really a slogan. I would do something more catchy. Like "Site today. Bookmark tomorrow." Ok, so that one isn't too good, but you get the idea.
4) There are lots of things you could fill your site with. I like www.moreover.com for news. And if you want to provide free web hosting, check out www.wigloo.com, www.northsky.com, or www.liveuniverse.com. Then there is weather, stock quotes, and lots of stuff to fill your site with.

Can someone here suggest the colors I should use for my top and left panel?

Orange and blue. They look good together seriously. They are a football team's colors and look great together.

Yup - borrow colours from pretty much any professional sports team and you'll be fine. Did you read my last post about this? If you wouldn't leave your house wearing that colour combination (or wouldn't care, or would laugh at someone you saw wearing that combination) don't use them!

I'm closing this discussion because jackchen started a new one pertaining to his "Blue and Yellow" design which can be found at: http://www.webmaster-forums.com/ubb/Forum10/HTML/000452.html
Brooke: we were saying Yuck! to the old design...

Personally I like the yellow and blue. It's clean and bright. I don't know why everyone here is saying 'YUCK!' But, just my opinion.

Okay - this site has postings all over looking for help and every time I look I see different colors. So, just so you know, I like the top blue bar with the yellow on the side. I think that is sharp looking. Sorry if I confused anyone, I was confused myself!
