Hello and welcome to TWF. Nice to see yet another Brit around Wink We'd appreciate it if you'd help us out and review some other sites.

Yours looks really cute. I like it a lot except for that green background which is a little too bright - it's overpowering the main design.

I'm a little confused by what's happening with the navbar buttons there - when I click it changes colour, and the mouseovers change to the original "on" state. It would be okay if it just changed to the darker one while it's "hit" but it stays on the hit state and that's confusing. Maybe it'll make more sense when they start going someplace.

I agree with Megan on the green.

It displays the same in Netscape4.7 as it does in IE 5 except in net the 'links' (the word) has a green line running thru them covering the letter 'i', oops its not a lin its the right hand sides border.

I had a quick look at your code, but your editor has made a mess of it, it uses 18 cells across for nothing (layout only uses 7 at the widest part and 8 down when your only using 5 down in your layout.

make a 10x10 (or anysize) image of the background color your using, and use this as the tables background image where your word links are, this should get rid of the line, or use the spacer.gif, this should also fix the border.

Hiya fellow Brit, where about's are you?

Hmmmm, green! I would find another colour as the #99CC00 green doesn't go with the more karki green for the side links. I actually think the #6699CC blue would look quite nice.

I think the table coding is a bit messed up because you appear to have done it in Fireworks and imported it into Dreamweaver. Never done it that way my self as this layout really doesn't need it. I'd do the coding in dreamweaver now you have some idea of what goes where.

I like the overall feel to it though. What is it actually going to be a site about? The QS reminds me of A Wuestion of Sport!!
