New design (again!) -
http://www.extreme-vb.net/access
Well, I wasn't happy at all with the previous look in older browsers and in netscape. So I, yet again, changed the interface.
Now, I am using a "tabbed" style for the navigation. Not the greatest look, but I can't see how Netscape can interperate that differantly. I also don't have netscape so I can't really tell, but I am in the process of downloading it now.
Anyway, if you have any suggestions, let me know.

Hey Nick,
I looked at your site last night but didn't have time to respond, I was going to suggest changing the text to white but I see you've already done that .
I'm looking in netscape, everything appears to be working, loading fast enough, colors look nice. I like the tabs, gives your page dimension. I'm not sure if the background texture is necessary, it's hardly visible and may slow it down just a little bit.
I almost want to see the books aligned with the tops of the tables, since they (the tables) are different sizes.
take care,

Nick,
Just a few points:
- The tabs are nice but a bit dull and hard to read.
- The logo should be altered as it was drawn on a white background.
- Maybe you should center the tabs?
Good stuff!

Thanks for the input! I recieved a lot of complaints about the black text coloring. Surprisingly, it didn't look all that bad on my '89 compaq monitor though. But, when I looked at it on a better monitor, I also saw that.
I didn't realize I left the background image in place. I'll remove that on the next update.
I just aligned the books with the top of the table and it looks better, but the images are vertically centered within the image. And, since I am only allowed to serve the images from borders' server, I can't fix that. But, it did help it a little.
Once again, thank you. These forums have helpped out a lot.

for some reason when you make the transparent backgrounds they sometimes leave a few pixels around the edges. You can open the pic again in a paint program and make the background very close to the background of the page, one number off wont matter to avoid the same blue is in the logo, then make that color transparent---hope I'm clear here, I'm eating lunch and trying not to wreck yet another keyboard,
take care,

I have, basically, no control over the images. Other than the Image Editing toolbar in frontpage. But, I had the background converted to a dark blue so it doesn't leave anymore stray white pixels on the border.
On the plus side, with front page, you can really change images for the better: Auto-transparancy, contrasts, everything.
Originally, I had the tabs centered, but I changed it to go with the "side-build" style I am using.
Once again, thanks for all the help.

Carolyn,
The white border on this image is due to the merger of the pixels surrounding the logo. This results in them not being the exact set tranparent colour and thus they are not transparent.
