Hi there,

No doubt, there's a new trend on the net and almost everyone's following it - high tech look, boxes, no ovals, etc.

You concepts looks good, I am not sure about colors - I would expreriment here for a while. I am sure that white content's space does not go smoothly with the rest.

Watch out for those higher resolutions! Your front page is displaying continuos backround image at the bottom -> images/thinbarbkg.gif. You need to do something about that.

Good use of mouseovers, but bottom menu is out of place. You should have in mind that almost noone will sroll down for navigation (you can repeat navigation buttons at the bottom only if they are accessible within top screen)

The arrow to scroll down is also out of place.

Overall, layout is nice but needs some work when comes to navigation placement.

Best Regards,

Enigmatic

Thats a different look, kinda like a 60's or 70's look

the colors look better on Netscape4.7 than they do IE 5
you also have a slight scroll bar in IE but not in Netscape at 800x600

The up arrow is on the left, but down is on the right? I think the bottom arrow should be on the right as you end the sentence at the right.

on the graphics example page, move the flash to the bottom, 2 reasons, one its takes forever to load (314k), and two you have "You will need a flash plugin to continue. Download it here Ignore this if you have flash." but under it you have normal graphics. and no I wont turn my speakers on Smiling *i surf the net with sound off, sick of all the sites that you cant turn the annoying mid or wavs off on*

in your FAQ you sometimes use an "a" other times you use an "@" for your company name, mayve stick with just one.

Now that is a dang good looking web site!! Me likes a lot. the only thing that I found that didn't work on some of the pages was the 'go to the bottom of the page' button. Sorry to be nit-picking but it was really the only thing that I found wrong. The site looks so touchable. Wink And very well presented.

Oh,(this may be my computer doing this) when I clicked on some of the nav buttons one or two of the others would dissappear on some of the pages but it didn't do it all the time.....couldn't find a pattern. Like I said, probably on my end though. I'd be impressed if I were a potential customer.

On the portfolio page, I see you are missing a period.

***You will need a flash plugin to continue. Download it here<.> Ignore this if you have flash.***

Need a space here:

This is a small flash animation intro for dib, dab, doo.space We also designed the characters.

On the privacy page you need a period at the end of the very last sentence. Didn't check the whole site for punctuation errors so you might want to look back over it.

I'm actually not too keen on this one. I mean, it's surely better than most and it is well done but I'm just not all that enthused about it. The colour scheme seems to be very murky - not enough colour contrast between the teal, blue, and gray. That yellow isn't working too well either.

Another thing I"m finding is that there are a heck of a lot of navigation options on here. Three navbars is too many I think. Take out that bottom navbar, and put Privacy, Hosting Terms (rename to Terms & Conditions which would be more recognizable to people), and Guarantee and put them in text links along the bottom. Put the Tech Data link on the hosting page and the Terminology in the FAQ.

Overall there seems to be *a lot* of content on here. I would try to consolidate things more (i.e. Combine "Web Design" and "What we can do" into one category called "Services" or something like that. Put all the hosting plans in chart form on the main page instead of using pop-ups).

One more thing - the logo. It is rather boring and I can't process that into any kind of pronouncable word. How is that suppoed to read anyway? bstractweb solutions... Oh, that @ symbol is supposed to be an a! I didn't get that. Change it so that the @ is big and sort of faded out and replace it with a regular a so the "abstract" part is more readable.

Personally, with a name like "abstract" I would go for a less techno more artistic look but that's just me...

I thought we were cheap here!

I quite like the overall look but not sure about the colours, very bland and as Megan said not enough contrast.

At large resolutions you get the white box repeated so it looks like there is another page but it's blank.

Horizontal scroll bar at 800*600

Definitely too many navigation options. Combine some and get rid of bottom lot.

Think everything's been said otherwise.

I really like the site but the first thing I noticed it lacked was a really good logo. If I was a customer looking at your site and interested in web design I would want too see some really cool graphics, starting with the logo!

Apart from that its a nice site. I like your color scheme

Cheers

Makes ya shudder, don't it? Don't you people have bills to pay!?! Smiling

I like the site, generally. Good clean separation / definition of the console elements. The blue/teal does not work for me personally though. Like someone said, I would expreriment with it.

Probably too many menu options but they ARE easily accessible. You may get away with it.

Also already said: LOGO! You need better brand identification.

Thanks everyone for replying to my post, I went away for a few days thinking I would only get a few replies.

I must say I am very impressed at the quality of replies I have recieved. Everyone of you has a valid point to make and I have noted all your qritiques and I will post the site up once I have made the required changes to the content and things like the logo and color.

I am so busy building client sites that I have hardly anytime to change the site, I posted it up as I just re-done the design. Once I have more time I will concentrate on the content and the excellent advise you all pointed out to make it even better.

Taff, I know Im cheap but I have very low overheads and I want to increase my prices once I have built up my portfolio Wink

Anyway thanks all.

P.S In the meantime anyone fancy reviewing my webmasters site http://www.stickysauce.com Wink
