Netscape Comm. vs. IE - Browser Compatibility Help!
I use a Mac Power PC and Netscape Comm. 4.61 when designing webpages. I recently helped a friend with her webpage. When I look at it, it looks fine. The Gif header is transparent and melts into the background which is a light blue. When I go to my friend's house who uses a PC and IE4.0, the website looks absolutely awful! What can I do to make webpages look similar with both browsers? Please Help! P.S. The website is http://www.geocities.com/Petsburgh/Park/5115"

Dear Dan, Thank you very much for looking at the website. I am glad to hear that it does not look any different to you with either browser. It can be so disappointing to have your website appear differently on different browsers.

The main elements affected by browser change are = tables and forms fields.
The best course of action is to develop for N and let IE (which is more code lenient) take care of itself.

Looks fine in IE5. They are only different when you use tables and frames and a few other tags, but mostly they work the same.
