NEEDED: Good honest opinion www.scoringessentials.com
I recently had someone start a site for us and then she was unable to continue. I have tweaked it recently with DW and would appreciate any constructive criticism.
Does the page support the WIIFM (what's in it for me-customer) philosophy? Will some tweaks do or is a makeover in order.Thanks.

It's not a bad design. I think i would make the background a lighter, friendlier blue though. Your logo also looks a little ragged? I like the heading and menu graphics but the body text should be in arial i think and maybe a dark grey instead of black? I don't think the black is in harmony with the softer blue background. Lastly, i'm not sure about the geek in front of the computer!
Taking a look at your source code, you have wasted a lot of space by not having the JavaScript and CSS in external files. You also have irrelevant meta tags and an extremely pointless Copyright statement.
Your site has failed HTML validation because of the Copyright symbol (JeevesBond taught me that!). Instead of a Copyright Symbol you should put © into the code instead.
There are also some CSS errors.

I think it could look good with a little bit more work.
Good luck!

I think the design and layout looks good. I would just recommend 2 things:
1. Add a physical address under the contact information. This could help conversion of new customers.
2. Removing the "Click Here to upload / Download Files" that is on every page. It looks a little out of place.

Good site but a few things:
1. The blue bold font is not matching at all. Use the same teal from your background or something that matches better.
2. The "Click Here to upload / Download Files" is a different font and the download files part is too big and the whole thing is centered and looks like it is not cohesive.
3. The gray line down the midlle to left - it is too long - it stivks below the rest of the white.
(I am using FF, PV 19")
I hope that helps!

Has flash on the side so have no idea whats there, has no non flash variation, if it has links are they the same as down bottom right?
The site has no logo (unless in flash), so looks really empty, the images, like on services page don't line up with the text at 800x600.
The white box appears to go to the very top of the screen but doesn't on the bottom, yet the strip is lower than the content box.
As for the "WIIFM" nope, I hate flash, so your site becomes a bit unusable

I guess it is better to use more colors and little bit better font on this site.
Especially at the following page if you use a different color for the pricing it would be good.

1. Very cool how the six links on the left gentle wiggle on rollover. I would make them darker, more crisp though. Also, too much white for my eyes. And nearly zero border betwen each.
2. Good of you to make pricing easy to find. I detest being forced to search around.
3. Some sites are too busy. Possibly aware of that, yours seems to have errored on the side of simplicity. I'd get some more stuff going on, leastwise in the Firefox view. A big for instance: Why link to find the phone number when it would fit so easily in the same area?
Overall, just too white everywhere for me. Still, way better than sites that consume my time trying to figure out where to find stuff. The out of focus style (recently popular in MS products) is a big no way for me.

Hi,
Hope I'm not repeating but here are the errors I found (Mac on Safari)
- the rounded corners are pixilated & of different sizes
- the bottom of the round graphic above Scoring Essentials is squared off as well as looking grainy
- the "g" in Scoring is lopped off at the right
- the motto underneath is grainy and hard to read
- the Several Deliveries box's text is lower than the adjacent Customer Support box
- the faint grey copyright text extends over the white bar into the blue background
- under all but the Company pages, the righthand bar of the menu extends below the content to the blue background
- the Pricing bar is like a pixel or so off in matching up with the light grey arrow thingy
- also, should you have that Customer Support box lined up with the text above - probably
Well, that's about it. Otherwise, nice site, colors are good navigation good, copy good.
Hope this helps!

Hi,
nice site, good effort there, looks excellent. I'm assuming I am looking at it after the guys here have already commented and that you have changed it since.
One comment now, the layout encouraged me to look to the left for navigation, but the whole left area doesn't provide any navigation at all. Why not make these hyperlinks too? I'd also go one further and make the blue squares with the red bits in them buttons for navigation. These were the first thing I went for but after several clicks I realised I was in the wrong place (and yes it was seven!!).
Nice fonts, consistent layout and those obligitary workstyle photos make the whole thing a good package.
Regards,
me

Its a good design and it says business to me but there are a few things that could be improved. The bottom bar should be a different blue which matches the other blues more. The side menu should work but im not sure wether you intended to make it or not. The arrow bullet points seem a little un even, the top seems to be different to the bottom so try making them symmetrical.
Apart from that everything is good. I don't know if i repeated anything because I didn't check the earlier posts.

I didn't get what the site was really about.
This means nothing to me I want to know what the site is about with the first second of download. I didn't get anything meaningful out of the first page.
I didn't get what you were scoring. is it neurometrics is it test scores. The point is the first look at the page should tell you.
The clothing the people are wearing sucks. I don't think I would do business with a company like that. I like freelancers. People who wear whatever and don't feel they need to make the impression of professionalism because they know they can do the job you are hiring for. That's just an opinion.
In my opinion, the site is trying to hard. If you make people wear those kind of cloths in your office I don't even want to know you.
Enjoy.
Thanks,
Buck

Nice and clean! Several links are still dead (work inprogress) and the image http://www.scoringessentials.com/images/butprivacy.gif isn't on the server or has a different name. Very clean though.

I've read the reviews and agree with the left menu needing to do something. The sites needs some excitement or something to give the readers. Maybe bolder colors. Nice horizontal gradient menu but the left nav needs to be resurrected. Easy to find info though.

This site is a very clean design. The HTML is nice and clean as well. Nice corporate site. The purpose of the "Upload Files" feature eludes me thought. Also, as a couple others mentioned, the left-hand menu is a little difficult to read. Larger font size would be helpful (I'm viewing at 1280x1024 res).
