Need your opinion: Classifiedswiz.com
This is a site I'm currently running http://classifiedswiz.com
I sent the url to the search engines and apparently I don't appear on any nearby listing. I'ved checked the ranking and it's way behind. I'm not getting any hits from the search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc.). I "optimized" the meta tags and added some content at the front, but still nothing.
The last thing I tried was buying "untargeted" hits for my site. Since a week ago I've been recieving visitors, but nothing is motivating the visitors to suscribe for the free service. I would really appreciate any help, any tips to get more traffic and make this web site work.
Thanks in advance...

Could anyone give me some advises on what I should do?

I have been playing with your site for a while and one thing I think taht would help it would be to make it completely free in some categories.
You need traffic in a big way. Classifieds only work if people are looking at the classifieds.
I would advise letting people know they can post personals for free and I think you will get both registrants and visitors.

I have the site for free in all categories. But I'm controlling the free registration credits user by user, to protect it from bots making accounts at the site.
Thanks for your comment Tom, I appreciate your help.

I think the site's got a good base. That banner on the left is really distracting, and kinda hard to read.
The opening paragraph needs to be slightly bigger and get rid of the border. Get rid of the poll. I rarely vote on those, and they're rather annoying (at least to me).
I'm confused on what that table is at the bottom. It appears to be recent postings or something. Give it a header.
Also the site just seems too blank. Try changing the background color slightly.

I like the clean layout and the colors. One suggestion: Do not show your visitors that you have 0 ad in most categories. They will leave your site immediately. At least these numbers are not helpful on your site promotion currently.

I was thinking about the same thing on the number of ads posted in each category. I need traffic in a very heavy way...
