You can rant on anything/anybody. And best of all, its un moderated. Un-modded fun. Something you don't find all the time. Come check it out. Please register and help keep it active. I have recently opened an Arena for Contests/Battles where you can win prizes... come check it out. Our friendly staff will help with any questions that you may have.

It's just a standard forum layout isnt it? What do you want us to review?

Going un-moderated. Good luck with that Smiling Might be a good way to attract people. Be sure to advertise that in your header and elsewhere. That's something that can set you apart from others. Actually, you should probably have some sort of clear policy about that. You're still going to delete spam, right? Nobody wants to join a spam filled community.

I think that peole often make poor decisions regarding forum layouts. YOu want to put your most attractive forums at the top. Your "bulletin board" and "staff applications" are just taking up fold space. Move those down to the bottom and let people get at the good stuff. After that you want to decide which to emphasize - movies, or webmastering. I also think that you should condense some of those web design categories until you get more posts going. Nobody wants to join a forum that looks empty. Combine your categories and there will be bigger numbers in the topics & replies column. That'll make you look busier than you are.

I personally believe that a forum community should start out small.
The less categories and forums you have, the less chaotic it seems.
With lesser more general forums, you can also have a larger post count on them.
This will make your community seem more active and encourage user registrations.

For Example:
Instead of having "PS, PSP, and 3D" forums.
Combine them into "Graphic Applications."

Once your site picks up and you have a substantial amount of posts in the "Graphic Applications forum," then go ahead and make the more specific forums and move the older topics to the new forum.

Good Luck with the site. IPB 2.0 is very nice Wink
