Hello I am fairly new to photoshop but from experimenting i made this http://www.geocities.com/tukno/ (the logo is on the webpage.) It is quite simple but I think it is fairly good!

What do you guys think about it?

What should I do to make it look better?

Once again the address where you can find it is:

http://www.geocities.com/tukno/

I chose not to post my logo on this forum because i feel the color background on my website suits it better then the forum colors do!

Although it does not say on the site this logo is a copyright of Adam Schlichter, 2000...

Thankyou in advance for critique this logo!!

Not bad.

My favorite logo is the Sun logo. Ingenious.

I don't like it much. It looks old fashioned. Like it was made in MS Paint. The background color of the page doesn't help it at all either.

- Too big.

- Ugly green color. But that's just my opinion.

- Doesn't go with the bg color.

- Looks old fashioned. Like it was made in MS Paint.

I say get a good graphic design book then try making a logo.

I think it looks good. It is very big though. It's nice and simple and very clean. Like Justin said it looks old fashion. Make it look newer and more modern. Then it will be great!

Erm.. [because I reply to everything even if I don't have an answer] I must withdrawl my opinion, because I am an Abstract Designer, and shouldn't review contemporary designs because I'd have a slant to the Abstract.

Not bad,

It is clean
Try using up the negative space
Try a nicer font in the lower section
The green is...well unusual. If you want to keep the green try working a small amount of white in to counter balance the solid look.

Have a good one

A couple of things:

I don't understand the point of the empty space at the top.

I would try to do something more with the font - it's just straight text and really doesn't stand out. You really want the logo clean and cohesive. It's the one thing that people see first.

I personally think that colors do not go well together. All except for the two greens in the box. Those go together. But the bright green dollar sign and the bright blue background just need to go. If you want to use those two greens, trying picking a marroon, tan, brown, navy blue....

I don't actually like the sun logo. It just does not hit me as a good brand identity.

Turn the green into Blue and see what it looks like.
The green and blue don't mix.
