Multimedia Site Review Please

Hi, I just finished a new project and I'm looking for some feedback.

The idea of this site is to take a geographic location, then sift through all of the media that's floating around on the internet (videos, pictures, webcams, articles, panoramas, satelite photos, etc.) and combine all the media related to that location into one page, immersing the visitor with enough information that they can effectively explore the location without leaving their chair.

Here is an example page which tests the concept--the location is Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson NJ.

Thanks

took me a while to figure out what it was and its a theme park site yes for one park six flags yes?

it looks nice and exciting and interesting and has lots of fun going on.. but not much to click on I found myself trying to click stuff
and nothing happened.
I was clicking on the map hoping to see photos or that area or something

I think you need to explain its for the six flags theme park up at the top
and you need more interative parts to it

unless its just IE that can't handle it then you need to make it so IE can handle it.

Sir please try a nice theme or template. The fonts on right menu are too big.Its not nice. The header is very boring. The title of the page displays the linking page.
Try to make the body page that sites 100% without any clutter.

hi tomcat

very nice idea

the menu doesnt work, i am wondering if there is any content apart from the six flags center

the arrangement is very good. first the map of the theme park, then pics, then videos... the relevants ads are well-placed too.

so the content is very good too.

however, design-wise, it can be better.

you need to align your graphic elements
you need to reuse the same style and apply them to all boxes
you need a set of colors who match together and stick to that
you need to use the same font/typeface etc...

hi,

Negative:

- The first thing i noticed about your site is it is oversized and took alot of time to load.

- The navigation menus are not working.

- There isn't much things to click...only the photos and videos links are probably working (and google ads)

Positive:

- Nice Idea for the site

- umm..maybe that's all for now..since there's nothing much in there..but i know it'll be better soon..

Goodluck!

The idea is great, Ive always dreamt of a website where you can get all the information you need. I would love to check for a place and find videos, photos, news and information in the same page. On the other side, the design isnt the greatest Ive seen. Its relatively poor, but I know you can improve it. Please use better colors and a better template. The graphics should be bettered and the page should be way cleaner. The mot important negative side of this website is how much time to load; only a few websites on a high speed internet connection like mine take this much to load, and I always leave those and never go back. This is the point you should focus on, maybe you shouldnt put everything on one page, as in you can link the information together but place them on different pages.

Great idea, but the site needs a better design. Good luck with it, it sounds promising.

Bit frustrating when people don't read int it?

Love the idea but bloody hell! How much do you want to bite off? In order to make this work you're going to need huge amounts of content and lots of visitors happy to upload thier stuff.

The design is a bit clunky but as a proof of concept it seems to hang together. I'll agree it's a bit too big to really work without people doing a lot of scrolling.

Good luck if you go for it.
