1) The logo part on top looks good, but it's too big. Maybe make it a little smaller.

2) I don't like the menu too much. First, the font you used is terrible. Choose something different. Second, I don't really like the mouseovers either. Finally, get rid of the little line under each link.

Thats all right now...

1. The top logo (which is great) isn't reflected well in the rest of the page. The squared edges don't flow.

2. If you are going to use images for the navigational text, you need to: a) make the .gif, not .jpg as they are lossy (poor quality) -- for more on gif versus jpeg, check out www.gettingstarted.net -- and b) consider using the swooshy element from the logo to tie the logo into the page.

3. The photos are varying quality -- if you can fix that, do. I know sometimes what you have to work with is just not that good, though.

4. Er, it's 2000, not 100. Check your code!

5. Unlink the page I am on.

6. Too much is below the fold.

7. The navigation isn't clear -- it seems too complex at first glance and my laziness means I won't read it properly. Cut the words down, make the categories more clear, remove some of the options.

8. I would REALLY remove the bar from between the logo and the rest of the page, make the logo as is a splash page image (with text links under it, and the address and contact information on the splash page, too -- so it isn't a useless pretty image just taking up space), and then use a portion of it for the interior pages, like one horse, and the text at the bottom.

9. Get permission from whoever created the logo to make the other images from it, of course, and to use it on the web site in the first place.

hth,

Suzanne

I like the horses part in the logo, but its WAY too big. It distracts the attention from the body content.

The mouseovers could be worked on. The text is boring and it moves over on mouseover, which I dont think looks good.

Overall, it's a pretty basic design that could be spiced up. I dont know if it really needs to spiced up, considering it's topic

okayokay.com,

  • What everybody else said plus..
  • Do something with those photos that makes them stand-out more. i.e. drop shadow, frame, border
  • When I went to click on the "site designed by double OK" link, double OK disappeared.
  • Have the links that go to a different site open in a different window.

    Horseys! J/k

I love your logo. It is so damn big though. Cut it down to like half the size.

When I scroll down the page it looks like crooked for some reason.

I don't like the mouseovers at all. This is a first for me since I have been a huge fan of them, but they aren't reflected well here.

The rest looks good. Especially the logo. Good luck!
