1) I like the blue with the light orange/yellow, but I don't think the dark orange needs to be there. I'd just make that menu the same light orange that's in the logo.

2) Since the page doesn't take long to load, why not make the links in the top right corner of the screen graphics? Like the menu? Then it would look more uniformed.

3) The picture of the guy in the top right is blurry, and the image quality isn't that good.

4) There is a period (.) at the very bottom of each page. That doesn't need to be there.

5) I like the menu, but I have a suggestion for the mouseover image. Instead of it ending with a curve, why not extend the light blue all the way across, and forget the curve? That would look better in my opinion.

Overall I think it looks good and it's very clean...

darrin,

I liked it. The only things I would change would be to round the corners of the tables that sit out to the left (personal preference). At 1024x768, the blue background bar reappears.

Looks good!

Yeah, if you're going to use a sidebar background like that, you have to make it more than 1024 pixels wide - some recommend 1200. Either that or you could just use a table background and leave the page bkd white (and set page margins to 0).

I disagree with Justin about the colours - if anything I think the light orange should go. I do agree about the mouseovers though.

I really like the little cartoon guys in your logo, but what's that yellow thing? Maybe contractors would recognize that, but it kinda looks like a snail to me. It might also be a good idea to put the full text of your name (Missouri Contractors Network) in small lettering underneath the MoCoNet text.

Okay, your most useful information is just listed on the "index" page. I really don't think that label make sense for this type of content. The find a contractor link on the front page is more likely to get people there. I do like how the subnavigation pops out on the sub-pages. Maybe you could use a label like "Contractor Search" and have the "Landscape" and "Utility" links underneath it.

Apart from the contractor search, most of your content is administrative details. It would be nice to see more information on here, like how to find the right contractor, what to look for, maybe help for contractors themselves...I dunno.

I appreciate the comments, we are still in our infancy stage.

Articles are coming soon as well as individual InfoSites(Webpages) for contractors.

I fixed the left-side navigation and changed 'Index' to 'Contractor Index' because they really don't serach but look through an actual index.

Thanks again for the comments and suggestions.

I'm a stickler for details and what caught my eye is that the heading for the box for News & Updates is quite a different font than the rest of your page and for me, it didn't fit. I'm not saying a different font from the rest is bad, it just didn't seem to fit with the rest for me.

Personal opinion only, Great job otherwise!
