this may be a little too soon, but...
The site is unfinished, as I have yet to frame the page off, add header images, fix small formatting gliches, etc. But I'm curious of user perceptions, and also expert opinions, because visualizing a good design layout seems to be a weakness for me. Anyway, I got sick of meditating in thought and went with the first thing that looked O.K.....kind've vintage 1993???
So let me have it and don't worry about my feelings. Also, there's a link to the WF on it. When it's finally finished, I'm going to ask owners of pages that are linked to if there is a certain summary they would like under their page's link. Any preferences, WF moderators??? It just occured to me, I don't even know who owns these forums...

Okay, at 1024 your border repeats and the text overlaps onto it. I hope you're planning on fixing this. Either put the site in a fixed width table or make your background image at least 1200 pixels wide so it won't repeat on high resolutions.
You've also got all of your information on one very long page. IT's good that you've provided navigation for that but might be more user friendly to put eveything on separate pages.
I would agree that the design looks rather vintage.

Thanks Megan,
I still have to frame the sidebar and logo, so they stay in one place. Then a section or two of the navigation links will appear at a time. I didn't know about the error at 1024 resolution, though. Thanks for reminding me.

Hmmmm...
I would definitely change the design. At least the colors, layout and logo
Try looking at designs that you like and copy. Later on you can add your own original elements.

Thanks anat,
I'm going to frame off the design I have now and then use it until I can think of something else. While making this page, the only thing I had to play aroung with was frames. Also, I never would have thought compiling links could take up so much time. Anyway, I have been noticeing more on a page since messing with JavaLinks.
Nice cat. I was disgusted when I first seen them, but then I came to like those Sphinx cats. They don't seem like they shed alot. We'll see...
