Hi,

What do you guys think of this site design?

http://www.sshost.com/new.gif

Do you think it is an appropriate look for a web hosting company? Do you think it is better than what we already have at our main site (sshost.com)?

Thanks for your time!

The look isn't bad but I prefer the one you have now. The question is why do you want to change? Fed up with the existing look, changing the branding? Depending on why you want to change the look will depend on what suits best. Without seeing the 'new look' as a working html page it is hard to tell it's functionality though.

I remember reviewing your old site here awhile back and comparing it to the dids site. What I liked about yours was the warm friendly feeling I got from it. It gave me a good feeling about the company and made me want to trust them. While the new one looks good, it has more of a sharp cold look even though the colours are the same. I guess it depends on what kind of image you want for the company.

First post!

I also like the present version of the site...I/m not a big fan of the yellow background on your new design. The images on the new version are blurry as well...it's hard to tell what they are.

I like the "simple solutions" theme better than "ultra fast" one. The current design reinforces the idea of simplicity well and I suppose that's why I like it more. If the intention is to go from "simple" to something else, then you've accomplished that. But personally, I am more attracted to a simple web hosting service. And even if I'm looking for something "fast", I'm going to be turned off if I have to search around to find the main headings, which is what you have on the proposed page.

Thank you all, that has helped me a lot. I think I'm going to stick with the old and just invest into more marketing... Smiling
