Yes! Yes! Yes! I visited your site last night and noticed your big changes. I like it alot, but you did make a change since last night. I like the background of the page white instead of silver. I think it looked better. Your logo is very clean too! Here is how you can improve:

1) I don't really mind, but the page is still a tiny bit wide for my screen. For people with 640x480 screens the width should be 600 pixels.

2) on the main site the page/logo is right up against the sides. This is because of your redirection service I think, but if it's not you should change it. It's fine on the rest of your pages.

3) your very botton image on each page isn't as clear/clean as the logo image.

Otherwise I think it's a great improvement!

Thanx Justin Smiling

I'm not sure what you mean by the main site's logo being against the sides? is it the HOME page? its seems fine to me....with or without the redirection... i'll check again...

the bottom image... i also noticed little specs on it... but when i download it to edit it with my imager... its crystal clear Sad so i'm stumped.

but its different on different computers, because i viewed my site from an internet cafe today... and everything was perfect..NO SPECS Smiling

...(quick comment) I would have the black line surround the WHOLE site, not just the top / bottom elements.

wow!! JP

is that all?¿¿

i'll make a border surrounding the rest of the content... the black line is part of the image...

as you know... if i wanted to make this line... it will have to either be a table border.. or a line gif on either side of the table.
i'll try and incorporate the latter.

A line around the whole page would look good. You could either make a table and make a gif and make the height="100%" or make a background image. I wouldn't recommend the bgimage though. It's hard to explain that the site is right up against the side. An example would be this webmaster-forums website.

HI justin..

i checked it out..seems ur right..
what i'll do.... i'll have to decrease the size of the navgraphic
and see what it looks like, though i suspect that at 640x480 the graphic will be fuzzy....we'll see..
i was thinking bout putting two line.gif's on either side.... dunno what it'll look like... gonna call for some HECTIC table manipulation.
Smiling

i'll see ya'll later.

Yep! I think two line gifs would look fine. Here is how you do it:

1) create a very small gif image maybe this big --> ¦

2) make a table 5 cells wide ---> ¦ ¦¦ ¦¦ ¦

3) in the outter cells put the gifs and make their height="100%" (so it will strech them the height of the page)

4) the cells in-between the gifs and main text area is so they arn't butted right up against each other.

way ahead of you on that one dude,

although... i'll be spanning the lines [red]between[/red] the top nav and the bottom image... not down the whole page, because the top and bottom images are curved dude....

glad to see we had the same bright ideas tho! Smiling

I'm glad i've got someone else doing client jobs so i can have time to play around like this so long Wink

OK, that is the idea Smiling
However in IE5 there is a gap between the top graphic and the main table.

You'll be surprised what you'll find if you click my link now...

about the gap... i'm totally stumped, I could put the top graphic into the table, but then i'll be messing up the table background, and if i want to make it go with either the contant or the graphic, somewhere its gonna look bad... i'll see what i can do though...

I like it with the black side things. But you gotta fix the gap and make the background white!

1) I would keep it to one design, no high-low crap. besides, the low version should include NO graphics. so they are almost the same, with different graphics.

2) I like the buttons on the top frame, but the main graphics for the high version are weird looking.

er...I really dunno wot your grevience is KiD....
ummm... the graphics just have a "dust" around the edges...
personally i don't see anything wrong with it...in both resolutions.

the high-low crap... have you timed the two?
the low IS low...it basically has only two main graphics for the whole site!
the whole idea is to have a serious, plain down business site for one...
the other one is more of a show-off type of affair...with mouseover's and frames.... i could get more show-offy, but that'll just make me go too far....
I'm constructing a portfolio of demo sites, and i'll show you just how much i can show off.. Smiling

but for now... the main aim was just business.. and its been working!!!! Smiling

the gap got me stumped... i'll THINK about the bgcolor change LOL*

Sad I think ur over exaggerating a bit DYC...

maybe it was due to the server or something...but this page never takes longer than 10-15 seconds to COMPLETELY load.

and i don't understand how you could have clicked anything to go to the page if the graphics were still spiralling..... ?

but anyway... try it again...i'm POSITIVE that it'll load correctly.

He's not overestimating it. I counted and it took 35 seconds for the graphics to spiral into place. It got me really anoyed too. The page only takes a few sec. to load, but everything spiraling into place takes way too long.

Get rid of the animations on the entry page. It took AGES for the whole page to eventually animate into place - I read the text, decided I wanted to low-graphics version, and then had to wait about 20 seconds while the graphics spiralled around.
