I think its ok.... Is it?
Hiya,
Just finished (is it finished?) the homepage for a site I should`ve finished months ago (I`ve been pre-occupied).
Lately, I`ve been starring at it too long.
Can you tell me, does it look anywhere near professional? I just dont know.... I`m getting 675 guilders for this site, (300 dollars), is that an good price considering the quality?

Thnx for the comments!

Hello and welcome to TWF. We'd really appreciate it if you could help us out and review a couple of other sites. Thanks
The site looks pretty good... I'm finding that the red and yellow are a little bright - I would try toning those down a little bit. The slightly darker shade of yellow you have on those little squares in the logo banner area might work better. The abstract strawberry in the left corner looks like a slice of pizza to me so you might want to fiddle with that too. Another problem IMHO is the logo - it's a little on the boring side. Try looking for a more interesting font.
I really like the middle area - the fine lines, subtle colours, and simple photos really work well.

Well this is the second time that I posted. My router is getting a little flaky and decided to go out as I was posting.
The site looked berry good. It is somewhat difficult to evaluate a site that is only one page. I would agree with Megan about the logo and the 'pizza'. I didn't really care for the background color either. That yellow looks fine in the inner tables but I think a bit too much in the outer background, even worse in higher res. I would use a white, gray or maybe a green to give it some offset. I also am quite tired of center-aligned tables. Just guess that I have done too many of them in the past.
Overall, good, but for a more thorough review, add some links.
Oh my, I just checked it in Netscape 4.78, the top logo didn't load at all.

Very slow to load in IE5 and Netscape 4.7
As mention by Mairving, the top section doesnt load in netscape, looking at your code you have two empty td cells, add a   between each and they should display, netscape doesnt like blank cells.
I got a pop up on IE, but not on Netscape
Also you need to use alt, width and height tags on all your images. The mouseovers on the flags are a nice touch but they are so small you dont really notice them, so leaving them off will only speed up your loading time not only in image sizing but also in html file size.
I'm not to keen on the colors either, but think if you keep a shade of yellow and red you should also include some green. not sure where the yellow actually comes into it anyways.
I'm actually having strawberries while I type this lol - yum yum

I like the simplicity of it but have to agree with everything that's been said about the colours. All I can really add is don't have the text as a grapic. You can do the same layout using tables with coloured backgrounds and normal text in them, that will also help speed up loading times.
