Add a border to your images on your site to give them a cleaner look. Nothing too thick. I can't see what those first three images are on your site. What do they say? Clean layout looks good.

The whole site looks shifted to the right a bit...

The southern webster county badge has too much space either side of it.

The clean layout is very good, and I think the site, overall, is a very good one Wink

Nice, clean layout, with just a few things that could be corrected.

First off, as heebiejeebieclu mentioned, the site looks a bit shifted to the right. I would try lining the badge up on the left, then either centering or lining up on the left the main header/title image.

Personally, I hate scrolling text, but if you must leave it, I would put it under the main header/title image, not above it.

Another thing that might help the "right-shifted" look is to either get rid of that image to the left of the welcome message, or rework it so that it's horizontal instead, and can be centered.

Did you choose the ash color for the background on purpose? Wink
Some images like Haz Mat, look like a patch. That's where white-bg-images become little annoying on a grey background.

Link style should be consistent I believe. Some of them are blue, some of them are underlined, in different font sizes. I don't know wheter it's just a title or a link until I click on it.

It's a good site, very informative. It's doing its purpose very well.

Good job!

I;d agree with that. Your website is doing it purpose, so what i say is really not useful but ill mention it anyway Cool

- Your html tags are witten in caps, i DO NOT reccommend EVER doing this.. it will cause problems in the future.

- You should not use tables, they were not designed for layout purposes..CSS was.

- Your html code is messy, id clean it up

- the Graphics are nothin special... and i dont really like the boarders

Hi
I found the site overall very good.
The calender did load slowly as it is a large pic.
Maybe the calender could be a text list off events. It would load
much faster.
And the letters on the calender were alittle blured on my screen.

I like it. Like a lot of other people have said, the layout is very well done and easy to use.

I agree with timjpriebe, I am not a big fan of scrolling text either. AMBER alerts, however, are the best reason for scolling text I can think of. I am assuming you don't have a set number of AMBER alerts so it would be very difficult to designate a portion of your page to AMBER alerts.

The background for your HRs are black, while the rest of the page is grey. I don't know if that was on purpose. If not, this should be easy to fix.

The other observation I will comment on is the graphics. It is obvious that someone, maybe you, scanned the shield and it's resolution is poor. I am using a laptop with an old graphics card, so disregard my graphics comments if you wish. None of the images look clear on my screen. The ones with text are pretty much unreadable, the others are very grainy (is that a word?).

Very plain and simple layout. I suggest putting your site in a fixed width table and adding some high quality pictures. Also change the dividers they don't look very good.
As a firefigher/EMT myself I often visit jems.com and like there simple plain layout. There layout contains a fixed width table and a simple logo of the maltese cross. http://miemss.umaryland.edu/ also has a very nice simple design with good use of pictures.
