To pointed, reminded me of a 1980's car, round the corners off a little, plus one of the images at the top is getting lost in the white back ground.
Hope this helps

I don't really see any problems with your home page. But your other pages can sometimes be boring. look at the 'about derry' page. it's filled with words. I don't think anyone wants to read all that. stick a few more images in there. also, try not to make the font so biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig.

Also the window resizes evertime I click a link, which i don't like

I think you site looks great. The only thing I would change would be the banner. It is white like your body and they blen together. Might be better if the are more seperated.

On the banner, make sure is says "Directory", because at first I thought "spam links" and almost quit...

I think for the type of site it is, the layout is very professional. I only have two things I really can say:
1. You have a small issue on the main page with your validation. I would fix it, if you are going to display the W3C button.
2. I wear glasses, and I ordinarily like a little larger print but on the About Derry page; it sort of looks like the large part of an eye test chart ( text to large!!).

One annoying thing I found is your page resizes my browser window. I hate it when sites mess with that.

Personally, I don't mind the banner having a white background as much as I mind it not being the right size. Don't use HTML to resize images larger than they really are.

And Steve40 is right, your validation issues need to be fixed. As the page is currently, it does not validate. Looks like the two problems would be easy to fix, though.
