Looks good. You've done a good job with the overall setup here. Nice customizations on the skin, good colur scheme, good co-ordinating logo. The font size on the forum description really needs to be a bit bigger. That's way too small to read comfortably.

The setup of the forums looks good - not too many forums to start with. I would consider adding a general chat area. This could really help to keep people coming back regularly rather than showing up just when they need something. The product reviews area is a good idea. Maybe you could give that more prominence by bumping it up above the Website Suggestions forum.

Not much else to say really Smiling Good job!

Increased the font size little bit to give more comfort to the users. Not sure the increased size is good enough Roll eyes

Nice idea, I missed out may be because I am very new to forums creation. Added now Sticking out tongue

Good suggestion, moved the product reviews category as a top one in general discussion.

Thank you very much Megan. Smiling

I like the layout first and foremost, yeah the fonts could be a bit bigger, this is another good example of simple but effective...

This site is a great idea! With the sea of email offers and banner ads everyone offers, this is great. One thing you should consider is adding a forum to recruit moderators because you'll need a good team for controlling the spam. Offer a forum to caution people about scams and how to avoid them. Consider featuring your best internet deal right on the homepage with something like "click here for more" to draw users into your forums. Lastly, encourage people to sign up by offering them a place to submit a deal. Looks like you're off to a great start though!

Thanks for your comments and a wonderful idea, I am sure we will include a new thread soon to invite moderators. Hope fully you can also become a moderator for our forum if you have some time to spare. Laughing out loud

The site are forums and it needs alot of users and topic to make it live and informative for visitors so far you have few post and few members design is fine ads are fits in to layout all you need is to market the site and bring visitors and forums posters who can post.

Regards.

Thanks for your review and comments. I am currently not in a position to do spend money for the marketing. But I can share the site information with many of the communities in the internet. It may became a busy website hopefully one day! I am not in a hurry to receive huge traffic Sticking out tongue

Most previous comments are good - about layout, colors, etc.
I was a bit puzzled about the number of forums - what if I had a freebie that's also a hot deal?

Also, the "Please do not spam or self promote" policy seems odd and unenforceable. Why does it have to be some else's deal to be posted? I know that those who want to receive the freebies are your primary concern, but the freebies exist mainly to promote someone's business, and they are the only folks with any vested interest in coming to your site to post deals...

Perhaps you could allow a limited amount of self promotion for a reasonable fee?? (free at first, perhaps!)

just my $.02 worth...

Thanks for your review and comments. I am sure you can post it in the freebie section with the text *HOT* included in beginning of the title.

It is a good thought, let us look at the postings for couple of months and if the SPAM is not created, we would be glad to remove the statement.

Thanks! Laughing out loud

I don't how how good of an idea it is to use a forum for this. I am not sure how willing people will be to post deals, coupons... on your site. I think people would mainly be going there to find some good items, and if they found them leave. It is a great idea, but maybe make the site a blog, or even a static website. Forums are hard to navigate for some, and they can have a cluttered look(sometimes). And customizing a forum(other than just colors) is hard, if you want to stand out, you need to be unique.

Just some suggestions.

Thanks for your review and comments. DealDebate forum created with dual purpose in mind:
1) For the people to easily find and share the good deal(s) info.
2) If they found their item they can get other people views on the same (reviews, features…etc.) before they actually buying it.

Also, we are planning to enhance it with a static webpage (home) to display the excellent deal collection in the near future. Wink

It is really good.
I think, you can add some images to your site to make your site more attractive.
