Ah, I wasn't clear, sorry. And I neglected to welcome you! Welcome to TWF!

Could you perhaps try and make your content a little bit more pale?
Seriously... your content is very pale, anyone without perfect 20-20 vision is going to struggle with reading your pages. Darken the text up a bit and it will help considerably.
1. I like the blue, but by itself it leaves much to be desired. I would keep that blue but add more (maybe a darker blue if your want to keep that theme) colors to add some life to your site.
2. Your fonts are WAY too small, and since the size is forced through CSS (Cannot be resized be changing the browser font settings), it may be extremely hard for those who are impared in this respect.
3. Your text are very light, making me (and I would assume other) squint to see it properly.
4. At the time of writing, some of your images on the right side (Scrolling section) doesn't work, so you might want to check into that. Note: This seems to be intermitent as sometimes it loads fine and somtimes it doesn't.
5. Generally Im not a big fan of scrollers within the webpage, but you somehow seem to pull it off with the shoutbox.
6. You might want to use proper page titles, this may help when being indexed, as of this writing, all your pages says "Simple Shout" as the title.
7. Sililar to the last comment... regardless of the page you're on the browser shows, http://simpleshout.co.uk/ yes it may look clean, but it may hinder your spiderability and it may make it harder for your users to bookmark and for people to link to as they are not presented with the url. Note: This may be due to the fact that you're hosted on a seperate server, but there may be a work around to this if you search in the right place
8. Your page loads very fast which is always a good thing. And the code is clean. You might want to add some title text to the links though.

Agree with the background, way too pale, font gets a little hard to read.

Couldn't agree more. It's like viewing a Web site while sitting in a cloud.

Not a fan of the baby blue background and the pale grey text. I guess that has already been mentioned.
Also, the support link up top was red whereas the other were grey. I havent ever been to your site before so I doubt it was the css.
