How is this new web design/programming/etc. website?
http://testarea.sensationdesigns.com/triexa/
I went for a completely different look (both layout and color scheme) from
http://www.sensationdesigns.com
My goal was/is to have the dark/grays in the background and have the main content full of lots of colors... as long as it looks alright together.
Any suggestions for layout/color? I know its a bit "empty" at the moment...

There is nothing there, navigation but no content.
Ok your source shows text thee but is not showing up on the page in Firefox.
For starters change your DOC tag to XHTML, HTML loose isn't ideal for CSS2 standards

I think the colors are working really good together.
The only thing that sort of bugs me is the green links. Try them with the orange your using once.

I think it looks good for a start. The blue in the content area and the green in the header look sort of out of place. They are sort of conflicting with each other and pulling the eye in opposite directions.
I really don't like the navbar being up there like that. There must be something more interesting you can do with that. I also think that the logo should be a little smaller with more space around it.
I think it is an improvement over the old design. More creative which is a good impression to send to potential clients.

I think the site is a big improvement on the old one. I like the strong green and black colours, they look great. I would change the blue links at the bottom because they do look out of place, just do them green like the links at the top.
I also think the logo is great, maybe a bit smaller but keep the same design.
Once the content is built up the site shoudl look great.

there will be more colors in the body so not only will that separate the bottom links from the top, but there will also be more combinations of other colors within the page...

I see the content now, before it was all black and blue.
The red header bar is to big (tall), pushes the content to far down, making you have to scroll (at 800x600).
Also think there might be to many colours (which are mostly link colours), you have green links up top, aqua down the bottom, main banner is black with orange (can't see logo properly), then the reddy/orange header ...
I think the reddy/orange works better than the black, maybe swap them over, or loose the black

I really cant put a finger on it, but it looks a little choppy. I guess the colors are a little contrasty for me. I agree with moving the navigation to other places, but at the present layout, I really cant suggest where.

Better, how about combining the two?

Combing the two in what sense?
Unfortunately I got the image as JPEG file, so it is very, very difficult to change the colors and such...

Logo is very nice indeed. The layout is also nice, colour scheme is appealing. Biggest issue at the moment is as you said, content. This needs some content added ASAP. Might even consider dropping an RSS feed onto the front page to hold peoples' eyes for a few seconds. Community / Contact Us links are broken, About Us / Products / Services etc redirect back to the main page.

http://www.triexa.com -- slightly more content added
Does the "Software client area" and "contact us" still not work?

1st impression:
Looks really professional. I love the colors. I can't vouce for the correctness of the code, but it sure looks nice!

I Love the layout. The colours are very nice and the whole design just works and contrasts so well together with the black + shades of grey, orange and green. The logo is very nice too. However, one bad thing I could pick up on was the "striving for your success" slogan at the top right hand corner of the page. I'm not sure whether that is permanent, but it's cliched and sounds unoriginal imo.
I liked "Improving conception, achieving perfection" much better. Just my personal opinion.
Apart from that, good work, it's a big improvement from your old design.

I like the overall look. The green clashes with the orange though, try to make the link colour more compatible with orange. And I find the main orange banner a bit too full on orange but thats maybe just me. How about making it a touch lighter orange. Maybe make the orange layer a bit more transparent? Otherwise I like it.

So any input on the further developments?

On the content pages, i can't help feeling that the whole content could do with quite a bit more padding around the edges, so it's further away from the edge of the white part.
The content is all really well presented though and looks very nice
All of the titles on the pages are 'TITLE NOT DEFINED' which isn't too cool
Nice job mate.

Good, I guess i like it if the background gradient is reversed... the logo is barely visible, and eats also up the drop-down menu...
the texts are small, but these are just minor comments, good job on the site...

I mean the backgorund gradient the top part is black, and the logo has dark parts as well as the drop-down menu, its better if it contrasts so that the logo is visible as well as the dropdown, why not try and make it lighter... or reverse the gradient... get it???

what color is the BG at the top? The logo is big, with orange parts, the dropdown is black... the link is green... its the bg I am commenting on, but its a minor problem as I said before...

Looks great for the most part. Great color scheme.
However, on the drop down menu, you can click on the words Portfolio, Services and Support, and there is no default page in the PHP file. Instead it displays an error.
I like the header type image with the arrow splitting the other arrow. Purely graphically, it looks nice, because the background is black/dark and goes with the look of the site. But when you go into the Portfolio, the image there is blue. To go better with the site, I think the background color should be black there also.
Also regarding the graphic, this is a pet peeve of mine. I think the either each section (Home, About Us, Products, Services, Portfolio, and Support) should all either share the same graphic, or each have its own. Right now, they all share the same graphic, except Portfolio, which is different.
And you're probably aware of this, but none of the Support links work. Makes it seem like you'll deliver a decent website, but then support will stink.
I like the overall design, though. Very clean and modern looking. Nice job!

It is an improvement on the old site with in comparison looks cluttered.
It's fast loading and the navigation system looks good and is easy to use although I think it could look better if the nav was the same orange as the orange in the logo rather than the green. That'll tie it all in nicely.

I like the colour combination and it is a big improvement from the old design...but the two headers/banners are too much. The top one with the black has some space in the middle that you could blend the 2 together or make 1 taller one....but you must ask ....why do I want to take up valuable space at the top?....maybe for an ad, then ok.
Keep going...I do like what I see so far!
