Homebrew site needs a kick in the pants
I am running a real estate office and fiddling about with a website handpainting it using notepad and my very basic html & it is all taking too much of my time. I am told that using stuff like cascading stylesheets and a mysterious thing called a backend solution I can automate inputting information. This is basically boring details and jpegs although I try to ginger the thing up with editorial & my cranky viewpoint. I cringe at the idea of a critique - because where do you begin?! I can't work out whether this message reveals my address and hope that I infringe no rules by http://www.hoskins.co.uk
Any help would be greatly appreciated and a happy Christmas to everybody if you haven't falen asleep yet.

the site is not bad only it is a little to wide for my screen, i have a 18" and it is set to 800X600!! if you update your site that often you may want to spend a bit of money on a cgi script that will allow you to only update the content of your site and leave the header and footer the same for all your pages, you can download this sort of script at

No- not bad at all. You can tell your new to HTML, but it will come in time... If you don't feel like it or have the time then drop me an e-mail and maybe I could design a site for you. Anyway- on to the critique...
1) You need some good graphics (ie. logo, etc...)
2) The page is way to long and wide. You also need better organization...
3) Takes a while to load the pics...

The home page is waaaaay too long. Try to keep it short and sweet and direct your vistors to where they need to go. It's just too overwhelming.
