Welcome to TWF retrospin,

First of all can you please help us out by reviewing some of the other sites posted in the forum for review. We normally ask that you do this before posting your own site that way others will gladly help you out after having a fresh pair of eyes look at theirs.

I have looked at your site and the first thing that struck me is that once it's loaded it jumps down the page in the browser to where the scrolling text is (very annoying, both the scrolling text and the jumping!)

I get a geocities error -
Line: 229
Char: 1
Error: Expected ';'
Code: 0
Url: http://www.geocities.com/bizzobomb/blog.html

The page itself is very good, a bit long though. Maybe archive the oldest dates and just have that days comments, if not put a back to top link to save all the scrolling. It's also very blue which although calming is also very cold, maybe add a rollover colour to the links?

Obviously the people to come to the site know what it's about???

Welcome.
doesnt load in Netscape, you need to fix your code, you have ...., no end head tag, title tag goes in the head tag, this could fix browser problems.

I am guessing you've used an editor to make this site as there is so much junk in there, example, you dont use center tags around style sheets that should be in the head section, you dont need two font tags to do one thing, href in img tags dont work, things like "background=rs.html" or "background=index.shtml_files/virus.htm" is asking for trouble.

the poll, you use the word "i" should use a capital I.

check out netmechanic.com or w3c.org for free html validators to help fix your html errors.

Looks good! I like what you've done with the logo - it really stands out but doesn't look cheesy.

Make sure you use proper formatting for your body text - like use the tag to start a new paragraph. That would make things a lot easier to read. Also watch your spelling - I see "yourselfs" in here (should be "yourselves") for example.

I agree with most of the comments here. I would say what your site is about even though regular visitors know. I see now that it is the best of th worst sites - but where are the links and the info?

I would make the scrolling much shorter. I agree about only putting today's date on the home page and the other dates on another page.

I also agree that it seems kind of cold - but I really like the blue's.

It seemed to take a little too long to load - might want to work on that.

Looks good though!

I like your graphics, banner especially. Good use of colour etc.

Otherwise, don't know what your page is about. Banner says it is the best of the worst of sites but I don't see a list of bad sites....

No easily findable menu.

What is somebody supposed to do while at your site? Read a comic and take a poll(that doesn't have mass appeal) they will never come back to check on again? I see the text in the middle but without any kind of title or inkling of what it is about I don't wish to waste my time reading it.

People are lazy in general, you would get more response from this forumn if you actually put a hyperlink as your address instead of just the plain boring old text.

If you don't intend your page to be targeted to the general public you should mention that fact.

Cheers!
