Thank you for welcome.
You're right about my english, it's not so good to explain everything I'd like, but the other reason is that I'm not so experienced in web design to write a good review, so I can only say do I like something or not. Anyway, I visited some sites (motorjeans, pixeldevelopement, citiflex, cinfinitysolutions...) etc., and I will come here on this forum every day, because I like to see what people are working on. Now when I saw your tips for writing review, will try to write something.
Wiith kind regards,
SP

Hey, sorry it took me so long to get to reviewing your site. Thanks a lot for looking at some other sites here. We appreciate it Smiling

The first thing I thought when I looked at your site is that it's got sort of a country and western feel. It reminds me of all those old American western movies. I'm not sure that's what you were going for. Looking at the photos on the site, it seems that the restaurant has a bit more of a classy feel. The graphics are done well enough, a little outdated looking and just not appropriate for the site. I would get rid fo the wood textures, and the bevel for that matter, and try something different.

I was confused about the use of flags to mark the different languages. It took some time to figure out that the British flag meant English. I'm Canadian, so that flag didn't have the sort of meaning it would have for someone from the UK. I would change those to just words.

Since the menu isn't available in other languages, you should put something more on the menu page to explain to potential visitors what sorts of food the restaurant offers. People are often nervous about ordering in restaurants in foreign countreis where they don't speak the language, so a page like this should put their mind at ease.

Overall you've done a good job with this. I found it easy to navigate and get a sense of what the restaurant offers. The english translation isn't perfect but that's okay, it adds some character to the site.

Thanks a lot, Megan.
I really appreciate your review. One of my friends told me the same thing about the wood texture, but the other one who own this restaurant likes it and I must say I like it too. Probably we are oldfashion.
I'm glad that you didn't find something worse.
Thanks again for your time.

Hello sp63,

You have a decent site there. But once again I'm seeing another website with slow loading time. Optimize your graphics for faster loading time. Take this into consideration Smiling

Second objection would be that pink gradient from the preloader bar ( flash movie ) i just dont like it and I think it doesn't match with that red background...

Good luck!

Cheers,

Personally, I think that the box that your content is held in looks awkward. It just looks like you have this cool image with the navigation on the top and then the little box of text. Either the navigation image has to be quieter or you have to jazz up the content box a little. The gifs on either side aren't really doing it for me either. I like the overall look, but the layout needs work.
